There is a new piggy back out in the market with an interesting feature. It ties a map setting to a drive mode. Is this possible with JB4 firmware update? Any way you guys can add this in the future?

That would be absolutely fantastic!Yes we have it on other platforms, plan to add it to the Stinger when we can. Usually what we do is setup Eco mode to VALET map, comfort to currently selected map, and then in the app you select what map to use when in sport mode.
I will pm you. I don't know if I should mention any names in JB4 forum. What is the new piggyback you're talking about?

PLEASE DO THIS!Yes we have it on other platforms, plan to add it to the Stinger when we can. Usually what we do is setup Eco mode to VALET map, comfort to currently selected map, and then in the app you select what map to use when in sport mode.
Awsome, keep us posted.I'll bump it up the priority list. It's a little tricky because where we tap CANbus via OBDII is universal across the entire platform and gives us some technical advantages over a direct ECU wire tap, but one drawback is for this specific mode selection we have to find the correct command to request it.
At the very least, with iOS, it would be nice to have both JB4 and Mando widgets on the lock screen so that I could tap them individually. Ideally, it would be great to control them both through driving mode, but I'd settle for the lock screenCould you imagine integrating this with the Mando? Sport= map 1, sportier mando = map 2, race settings = map 5, or something.
Won't it confuse the ECU adaptation values?Yes we have it on other platforms, plan to add it to the Stinger when we can. Usually what we do is setup Eco mode to VALET map, comfort to currently selected map, and then in the app you select what map to use when in sport mode.

Thats why I never make "usual" map changes. No different than usual map changes. Will take a run or two for optimal performance when changing makes.
uh this would be awesome.Yes we have it on other platforms, plan to add it to the Stinger when we can. Usually what we do is setup Eco mode to VALET map, comfort to currently selected map, and then in the app you select what map to use when in sport mode.
Just ordered my JB4 450whp package plus the pnp fuel wires this week. Adding this option would be the cherry on top.
