M&S rear diffuser from eBay

As you can see in pictures. The first few show me lining up the left most stock diffuser as it's supposed to. The other picture shows how the mold doesn't line up with the right stock diffuser. It is really off by more than a few inches. Bending or any other attempts to get it to fit did not work . Are the GT and 2.0 stock diffusers lined up differently?

Anyone have any more info on this? Are the GT and 2.0 stock diffusers not the same?

For anyone looking to get this diffuser, it does not fit the non GT models. I have a premium and recieved it yesterday. Does not fit. Doesn't line up at all .listed as compatible with all models but I'm thinking it only fits the GT .

That’s terrible news, mine is due in any day now. Were you able to get it sorted out or is it a no go? I read the same description as fitting all trim levels.

What if the stock bumper were modified by cutting it off flush? It’s only being covered anyway.

They accepted my return since the pictures I provided clearly show it's not compatible. Cutting it off won't help because it's not that it doesn't line up only, the mold itself doesn't sit correctly on the both ends where it curvesas well.

I just purchased this diffuser from eBay, and it's getting painted this week. The rep at the shop painting the diffuser said they would fill three of the fins with foam to strengthen them up, while the other two would have the OEM fins to strengthen. Once sanded flush, the foam would not change the fitment. Possibly an idea for other owners that are going the DIY route and looking for a little more strength to the ABS plastic.

Here's a side by side comparison. my guess is the angle of the stock diffuser?

Ya the stick diffuser in the 2.0 is way smaller. Saw a black 2.0 on the 405 today and noticed how much smaller that lower bumper section is.

If that was anyone on here, what's up?!

Looking for a picture I had seen while back of this diffuser colour matched to the ghost grey/ceramic silver.... can’t seem to find it, I’m undecided if leave it the matte black or paint either gloss black or paint matched... thanks!

the diffusers are painted primer black so they need a proper color coat and clear ( even if you want flat black ) I think color matching the car is the way to go personally !
