Hi, Just had a Xforce Varex catback installed and the stinger is sluggish and also changes to 7th gear just driving normally, I take off at a normal pace as i would usually do before the exhaust install and 1st 2nd 3rd 4th 5th 6th 7th right after each other, i have to flick it down to 3rd manually and as soon as it goes back into D back up to 7th gear.

Anyone have any ideas what could be going on? thanks

Maybe the installer accidently put the car in eco mode? It's the only mode that will stay even after a restart. Go start your car and check your dash for what drive mode it starts in.

Take it out a give yourself a few WOT thrills:pin Sport. Let everything know you have new exhaust.

Worked a treat cncBilly, thanks.

How do you like your Xforce?

Any fitment issues?
Does it sound very close to stock with valves closed? Drone free?

How loud does it get with valves open?
Any drone with valves open?

Lastly, any sound clip? :)

Thanks

I will take some daily driving audio clips from inside and outside this weekend coming, been a tad busy lately, that will answer your questions better than me describing it.

I'm very happy with it though :) sounds sweet.

I have a valvetronic exhaust too. There honestly isn’t anything better than having the option to cruise in stealth or open it up and let the world hear you coming. Did you get any sound clips yet?

Can’t wait to see your videos. Desperately wanting a catback exhaust but so hard to get info for the Stinger as most places in Oz haven’t worked on them and they get so excited to see a Stinger, they just want talk about the car lol

I’m waiting too. I just did my clips for the exhaust I’m running and I’m with the absolute absence of drone I have with valves or closed with my GT-9, I think the Varex is going to pleasantly surprised y’all.

I'm interested to get everyone's opinion on the legality of this exhaust system for the Australian(Victoria) laws?

Ok thanks, I emailed the people I bought this system from and that assured me that it passes all Victorian roadworthy tests. So I bit the bullet and bought it!

I don't notice a huge change in volume between open and closed. It's there but it is pretty slight. What about everyone else?
