can someone explain how the point of interest button on the rear view mirror works? Why does it find some stuff but not other stuff? Like a mall...
Turns the FCA off/on (Forward Collision Avoidance)
I wonder if you are using Android Auto, or the Apple equivalent, if it removes the function assuming you won't be using built-in Nav in the car.
My current vehicle doesn't have Android Auto so I have never used either. Looking forward to Wednesday.
I take your word for it ... in the UK it was EAB (or FCA) button on my Sorrento!Nope, sorry, it's the Point of Interest button. At least it is in Canada.
Bet it’s a thrill when you push it, Westcoast GT will agree on that one! LolNope, sorry, it's the Point of Interest button. At least it is in Canada.
I actually read the manual when I was setting up the HomeLink system for the garage door opener, but the mirror in the manual is different from my car... probably has the US spec mirror in it or something.
It's for an uvo feature the us cars don't have.I have no such buttons as in the picture. I'm in the U.S. Are those on the bottom of the rear view mirror?
It’s anyone outside Canada ... I’ll miss remote start and other app benifits from my Jag.It's for an uvo feature the us cars don't have.
Oh that’s right I remember nowNo, that button is to launch the ejection seat on those cars with sunroofs (GT's). Non-sunroof cars do not have it.![]()
