Just curious, has anyone heard or discussed anything with regard to codable options on the stinger? This is similar to vag/com on VW or INPA/NCS on BMW.

I currently code BMWs and many of the options on the car that are "turned off" for the U.S. Market are very nice to have.

For example:
Auto up/down all windows (may require a switch mod)
Windows up/down with key FOB
Windows operate with ignition off and door open
Removal of nav disclaimers
DRL output levels
Etc...

Perhaps just waiting for someone to "crack" the ECU language??

Cheers

I’m also used to Vag-Com coding and all the wonderful things you can add/change.

I’m assuming if it’s not been cracked in the Optima world it’s not going to be capable on the Stingers.

I remember these options with BMWs I've owned in the past. It's definitely a topic of interest and we do wonder if something like surround view camera could be coded in - of course with the addition of cameras being installed into the side-view mirrors...
That could be very doable. My M3 didn't come with an alarm installed...go figure on a 60K car...but it was all pre-wired. Here's to hoping the stinger has the SVM all pre-wired!

Well, it's been a couple of years since this discussion started. Have we learned anything new about whether the Stinger can be coded, just like Audi & VW could be coded with Vag-Com?

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
