Just ordered some OEM mud guards, and it appears that they’ve changed something on the 2020. There’s no bottom hole/clip point on the car to attach the guard to, and there are some fitment issues besides that. Anyone else run into this situation?

Included pics show the bottom hole on the guard, and the actual bottom of the mounting area. No hole.

Never mind. I’m an idiot. Was looking at the wrong side of the wheel. Haha. I haven’t had my coffee yet today.

I DID run into an actual problem. The instructions have the front guards mounted with a screw on top, and two pop in clips on the bottom. In reality, at least on the 2020, it’s plastic clips all the way around. So, I had to reuse a plastic clip. I don’t like NOT using a screw on the top. I’d feel better about a screw than the clip. I guess I might try to find a screw that’ll fit that clip hole.

Slam a self taping screw in there and call it a day.

I know this is old, but in case you see it - what did you end up doing? Did you find a good sized screw?

im a dumb-dumb and didn’t realize the hardware was wrong until I got to that top hole, and then also realized the push pins aren’t really the right size either. They fit, but are too narrow.

Had fun taking the mud flap off. :)

Hey, yeah it was pretty dumb that they didn’t actually include the correct sized hardware for an OEM accessory. I wound up digging through my junk drawer in the garage and finding some different sized push pins that worked.

All of that being said, I recently got a set of RokBlokz mud guards/flaps that I am CONSIDERABLY more happy with.
