I have been fortunate enough to own a 13 Optima EX (purchase,)14 Optima SX-T (purchase) and my leased 16 SX-L which I have had since 3/2017 and returned it today for my 2020 Stinger GT1 with of course the snowflake exterior and red interior; I never had a red interior before.

I am leasing it for 39 months with 12,000 miles per year; I got the dealer to throw in a tint for me as well.

My insurance going from the Optima to the Stinger is a very doable $9.68 more a month. I think being 50 puts me in the area of not being too young or too old to drive a car like the Stinger TTV6. My 79 year old dad takes it over the barrel with pretty much any car.

All three Optimas for the most part gave me minimal issues and back in 2017 when I knew the Stinger was coming out I really wanted one; especially the ttv6 one.

Im really glad to be a proud owner of a Stinger GT1; the first time in my 50 years I have driven anything over 300hp.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your Stinger GT! And your first car over 300hp. :) Don't worry, by the time we're 79, car insurance will be cheap - as we won't be driving them anymore... :o

Howdy. Our oldest driver on the forum is going on 97, so don't worry just yet!

My last ride (of over twelve years) was a '94 Voyager - with five on the floor, which is one of the main reasons I got it and kept it so long. So, you can imagine what kind of upgrade the Stinger is for me. :)

Wow, I had no idea that a minivan like a Plymouth Voyager came in a manual transmission; yes a big time upgrade for you.

Congratulations and welcome! First time for me driving a daily over 300 hp too!

Neither did I. It was eleven years old when I bought it from an only owner, who had ordered it with a manual transmission. I've only heard of one other manual Voyager, from someone who knew about it but had never seen it. I almost decided to keep it and the Stinger. But selling it was the right thing to do, though a bit sad. I definitely drove that thing by the adage, "It is more fun to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow." I kept the tach pegged at 3K RPMs, so my MPG were not much better than in the 3.3L Stinger. :P
