Active engine sound settings

Hello,
I'm new to the forum as of today and could use a bit of help.
I have a new 2020 GT2, AWD.
My issue/question..…….In the custom drive mode my manual states there is an "Active Engine Sound setting" that can be adjusted to preference. On youtube videos the Active Engine Sound settings line is the line just below the Suspension setting and the AWD setting. My custom mode screen has no words saying "Active Engine Sound settings" or any words as such. My dealer's service dept was totally ignorant and could not help. The salesman who sold me the car said he thought they might have discontinued the feature and did not update the 2020 manual.
Might anybody Know??? Thanks much.

For the time being, try registering with https://owners.kia.com/content/owners/en/kia-owner-portal.html/ and see if you could pull up one of the manuals from that site.

On 2019+ It's in the Setup menu, under Vehicle, then "Active Engine Sound". Options are Off, Minimized, Normal, and Enhanced.

Thanks for your input. When you say "Setup menu" are you speaking about the options you can set that are displayed between the speedometer and the tach.? If so, I can't find anything on my 2020 that says "Active engine Sound" All the youtube videos for the 2018 and 2019's show the active engine sound settings are on the custom mode screen setting that is displayed on the screen that sits on the dash board. My custom mode screen does not show the words "Active Engine sound settings" as an option. I'm beginning to think it is an option/ feature that is no longer offered but have not been able to confirm.

No, on the infotainment system. Go to the main menu where you have all of the icons, and select "Setup" with the gear icon.

I'm guessing this changed with whatever software update the car had. My 2019 had it this way out of the box. The manual is referencing the old way.

Welp. Wrong manual. @SafetyPilotCal 's instructions are per the Stinger "Navigation System User's Manual" (and not the main Owner's Manual) Page 9-2:

I Thank you Safety pilot Cal and Namja! I found the he Active Engine Sound Settings. I very much appreciate your knowledge.
The service dept. at the dealer I purchased from tried to convince me that there was never such setting and then went on to ridicule me went I showed the guy it was in the manual. Even though the feature is described in my manual, the instructions on how to use it are totally wrong. Any.....thanks again for your help.

All trims with the Harman Kardon surround sound certainly. I don't know about the trims equipped with the factory sound systems.

I could not access it through the custom screen on my new 2020 GT2 even though the 2020 manual states that is where it's supposed to be set. It was driving me nuts. Even a direct call to KIA was no help. They had no idea there was even such an adjustment.
Our fellow forum member Safety Pilot Cal pointed me in the right direction which is the setup screen under the gear icon.

All GT trims have the active engine sound. My 2019 GT has it (and has the 9 speaker system, not HK 15). Not sure about 2.0T
