Been strongly considering wrapping my car myself. I have some ideas that I think will look amazing if done well. I wrapped some small pieces in carbon fiber vinyl (fuel door, door handle end caps, side reflectors) and I did the hood before and it came out pretty good. I feel like I can do the entire car except the bumpers. Especially the front.

Has anyone wrapped their stinger in their garage? Meaning someone who is not a professional and just tried it DIY. If so, any tips? Not sure if I'll take this on or not, but I've been playing around with the idea for a while

Even with plasti dip, you will have a hell of a time on the front bumper of the Stinger. With it's many sharp angles. NO WAY I would even entertain doing this myself.

It was very simple. Hardest part was taping off the the parts I didnt want to dip.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

If the attachment worked, it shows a Stinger front bumper being wrapped. As with anything like this, it takes practice. You can always try it, and if it doesn’t work, you’re out the cost of a piece of vinyl. I did my entire Tundra. It was tedious but a great learning experience. Most who see it don’t even know it’s been wrapped. Good luck!!

thanks! I'm sure he's a lot more skilled than me, but at least now I have a reference

Yeah, when you do it for a living you tend to make it look easy. If I keep mine long enough I’ll be wrapping it myself also. Took watching a lot of videos to learn what to do but, more importantly, what NOT to do.
