Good Afternoon All,

I currently have 2019 GT AWD I've done a few mods, Injen Intake, oil catch can, most recently JB4. After installing the JB4 with Bluetooth and fuel wire I started out on map zero ran great. Started to use map one ran fine with casual driving, then stepped on it a lil and kinda hesitated to shift and when it did was not pleasant. I disconnected battery for 30min and did not use JB4 at all ran fine. Turned JB4 on Ran fine on map zero so again tried map one and same thing. I have stock plugs and plan on regapping them before I try any other maps. Has anyone experienced same issues or have any ideas what I may be doing wrong. Pretty sure I have most recent Firmware as well,JB4_KIA_13.hex.
Thanks I appreciate your time

You're supposed to re-gap existing/new plugs upon installation of JB4.

I have all the mods you said and used to run jb4 map1.. the shifts were a little rough but nothing crazy(I had an e92m3 and a tunes g37, those were rough shifts/downshifts so I was used to rough). I went with a mild ecu tune and it’s all smooth now with the same power thru the low and mid range but more power 4000 rpm to redline.

my car stock started shifting really hard on down shifts and the trans got replaced. Thankfully I was 100% stock at the time.

how hard was it shifting? I think alot of the early adopters in 18 had trans up shifting issues myself included. They ended up doing a TSB that re flashed the TCU and solved it. But it came back on a few of ours. Seems to jsut shift a little hard when cold.

It was hard enough that it made a Kerthunk going from 3 to 2 and 2 to 1 and started getting wors eand worse. they swapped out my whole box and haven't had a single issues since

You got it mild ecu tune? Did you end up going with Weistec?
Please DO tell us about the tune!
Which mods do you have on the car? Did you get "stage 2" tune?
How do you like it compared to JB4? Does it pull harder? on 91 fuel?

Feel free to make a separate post so that we don't hijack! :)

I'll post on the Weistec thread.
