What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

What brand is the occ?
Easy install?
Mishimoto.

Very easy install. Followed their YouTube video.

The only minor difficulty was getting the stock bottom hose clamp loose.

Took mine to Caffeine and Octane - North America's largest monthly car show (on perfect days like today, they say around 2,000 vehicles and 15,000 attendees).

Added some wheel valve stem caps with the KIA logo.

I got stopped once since I put those plates on--my tabs had expired because the DOT hadn't sent me my new ones. I doubt they would have noticed had it not been for the plate catching their attention first. The officer asked me what it meant -- just to confirm her suspicions.
My previous car (Genesis Coupe) had 'HI OFCR' and there were a couple of times when the HP definitely seemed to be out to get me because of it.

I'm still having trouble with picture adjustments. On one computer, the photos look washed out so I increase the contrast, but then on my browsing computer, the adjusted photos look way too saturated. I put in one side-by-side photo--you can decide which version looks closer to Federation on your monitor.View attachment 37575
Yes, the color adjustment looks better to me. Fed Orange is not "washed out".

Had OEM splash guards installed on our Panthera Metal GT2. They are not noticeable but hopefully will protect paint behind them.

Because of the service interval. Depending on which brand, they have to be serviced (cleaned) every couple of thousand miles which doesn't work into their maintenance schedule.
I thought some were maintenance free? Also, I can see no reason one could not be designed that required cleaning/emptying when oil changes are due.

Finally got this car I’ve been watching for years now. Say hello to my new toy!
Planning on doing my lease buy out. What’s the best mods to do first that won’t cause a fuss from the dealership while under lease? Also, what is the engine break in? I was told 1500 miles, just wanted some confirmation before I go into launch mode too early.
Looks beautiful, congratulations and welcome to the forum from another newbie (2 weeks).

That wouldnt work for me. because that placement of the switch would go right into my knee.
I hear yah. It's close. I chose this based on other people's feedback. You see, the fuse door is a *cheap* replacement panel, so reversing the install should cost very little money.

On a whim, I also checked my catch can. This has only been installed 2800 miles...

Wow, that is a lot. Is that a normal amount? I also am just curious why an oil catch can isn't something that is with the car stock.

Plastidipped a set of 2.0 wheels and swapped them on. Tough to show in pictures but there’s red metal flake that reflects in the sun. Just wanted something a little different than plain black.

That's a first. Nobody else has blackened the 2.0L trim wheels (and certainly not with red flakes).

Brilliant and most timely post as I’m looking at getting a red set of these.
A couple of questions if I may?

Do the extensions impede any vision or operational procedures to the wipers or indicators due to them being taller?

Buyers/owners in the past have commented on the flimsy construction of the extensions and especially at the top where they are too light weight and makes changing gears not easy.
Is this the case?

And I like the no branding on them....whose are they, where did you get them and how much?

Thx
Rob
