I look forward to hearing your feedback about the Weistec tune, and do you know if they've tuned other Stingers and have mapped out the ECU tables? I know a reputable local tuner down here in FL that tuned two Stingers, but he wasnt familiar with all the tables and those Stingers are slower than all the JB4/Lap3 Stingers I know.I'm actually going to go in on Friday to do this tune with Weistec. I have a jb4 now w/out fuel wires and it's only set to map1. It's decent as a power/boost upgrade but isn't as smooth as previous ecu tunes I've had on other vehicles. They are local to me and will experiment with this reputable tuner until I see more of the kagantuned/alphaspeed charts/info.
It's a mild tune, but still more than what I get currently with the Jb4.
Also, I have to know why you ran the JB4 without fuel wires and only on map1??? Did you at least run the OBDII connection to allow the JB4 to run correctly?
FYI- The fuel wires make a considerable difference in performance and running the extra rich stock AFR with extra boost was probably a main reason why it wasnt running smoothly. Few people complained about hesitation while not running the AFR adjustments and the OBDII connection.
But good luck either way and hope Weistec does a better job than other independent tuners that claim they can tune anything.
