Rebadging and warranty

I am about to rebadge my Stinger to K emblems and wondering what are the factory warranty implications? Can KIA refuse warranty on anything on the car? I assume if you change a part and an unrelated part fails they have to honor the warranty so there is really no risk (unless I scratch my paint when rebadging).

There really shouldn't be any risk with the warranty when it comes to swapping out your emblems. The dealer would have to prove that the modified part which failed was a result of the modification that you did. But yes, if you scratch your paint, then they wouldn't be responsible. If you're lucky, the dealer might help you out though.

I've been following this forum closely and am hoping to get insight into dealerships in the lower mainland where members have had a great experience dealing with.
As you can tell I have not pulled the trigger yet but am doing my research.

Yes, I have seen that many Kia dealerships are offering the emblem upgrades as well. It may be worth asking them just to put the responsibility (and risk!) in their hands.
