Here's a quick look at our first Stinger-specific product release...add-on wheel caps soon to be available in Brembo-red and brushed chrome--either the GT or Stinger text logos. These basically just stick right on top of the Kia-branded wheel caps on your car. Quick-n-easy visual upgrade expected to be priced in the $15-$20 range.

Sorry, can't see the photos.

Any chance of the “E” badge for the wheels? Would love to not have to buy the whole cap.

i love the idea of these. but they don't lost very long. i've bought so many of these in the past because i didn't mind replacing them. if you're not the type that minds they're great. but they're going to be faded after a year in the sun. if you park in a parking garage for work you'll be okay. but if you're like most people who park outside you'll be replacing them. buy 3 or 4 sets to be safe.

same place as me. they'll probably send new ones later but I never went through the trouble. my two driver sides were always in the sun and those are the ones that faded. same with the k it also faded. I don't bother with aftermarket emblems anymore. but they're the only option for unique designs.

Probably not since the OEM cap is available and most people might opt for that as opposed to an aftermarket option. If there's legitimate demand then I'd consider it, but an E logo is not on my product roadmap at the current time.

The width is 53mm and thickness 2mm. I'm definitely going to do the steering wheel, but that's been held up because I don't physically have access to a car (or steering wheel airbag module) at the current time. It's possible to make a steering badge just based on a trace with measurements, but that's less reliable. Also, overlays on the steering wheel aren't durable or as visually appearing as a replacement, so I'd prefer to make a replacement badge first. I'm sure I'll do an overlay too, but if the car isn't readily available for testing, the only way to really make that the right way is with a clay mold. Either way, I'm working on it, that's for sure.

Well I've had these made for other cars in the past with overwhelmingly positive results. If you're planning to keep something like this on your car for more than 2-3 years, then yes, I can imagine needing a replacement after that amount of time. Interestingly enough, I haven't heard anything about fading, but of course it's just possible nobody ever reported it. I'm pretty darn confident that it wouldn't have been an issue without feedback like that at this point. Another factor would be how long people keep their cars these days. If you're planning for the long haul of 10-15 years with your Stinger, then you might be in the minority. Different strokes for different folks, I guess. ;)

This looks like it would only go on the 2.0 not the GT2 center caps...I ordered the Korean E but if this fits the GT I can cover the Kia caps that I’m replacing with this especially the black with red GT logo

I'm pretty darn sure they'll fit on any Stinger wheels, but will certainly test them out and post pics soon enough. The first inventory of these caps is currently en route to my location from the factory and I might even have in hand by the weekend.

Yes please do a steering wheel cover
Definitely high on my list. I'd say end March we should have something. Which design might you be looking for? E, Stinger, GT?

My car is due end of March and I will be looking for a Stinger design on the steering wheel (for Sharkie's info). There is already a GT badge on the steering wheel and I like the idea of looking down and seeing Stinger, rather than the E.

Not sure if it was you or someone else who had and out line of a stinger bug/hornet siluette ...it looked great...I’d prefer that seeing GT is on the bottom of wheel and it gives it a flare..IMO

Wasn't me, but I think it was posted in the "Stinger emblem development" thread that I posted. Right now I'm keeping an open invite for feedback on what the community might want. ;)
