Three months?! I am currently waiting on a fender order. The shop was surprised there were none in the US and that it had to come from Korea. There were 21 on order at the time. Fortunately, I can still drive while waiting.

Yep. Shop that was working on mine had a wheel and headlight assembly within two weeks of getting the car. Fender took three months. I got ahold of Kia corporate right around the 2 month mark as it was looking like no end in sight. I had literally been told it could be a couple more months at one point. Corporate stated the fender for the Stinger is not the only part on back order either. Windshields for the Telluride are also months out... Drive with bubble wrap friends....

Fine, here's my final and entirely apolitical comment: I don't like the OP's tone and I think it's unbecoming of this community to ignore what he said. If anyone has a problem with that then I welcome a private conversation, so that you all can go back to talking about a busted headlight without further distraction.

100% agree with you. And this isn't about politics, it's about being a decent person.

It makes you uncomfortable? All the more reason to talk about it. If you see some bullshit happening and turn your head and walk on what kind of person does that make you? The OP had no reason to throw that sentence into his story, the whole thing could have been told without reference to who he might think hit his car. The assertion that a certain type of person is more likely to commit a hit and run is outrageous, all we can say for certain is that they're scum, regardless of their origin or residential status.

No doubt we all come from different walks of life, had different experiences of all kinds but we endeavour to be a friendly welcoming community to all and our one common thread is The Stinger.

Then maybe you should have said something to the OP about it being in appropriate. When Dodger posted that those on the left side of the issue are taking some kind of action he made it political. Let's keep politics out of here. I don't want to hear about what the left or right is doing in politics, lord knows we here enough of that outside of here. I do believe there are others who feel the same way.

OP, did your insurance make you pay a deductible ?
hit and run happened everyday, all over the world, by so many different kind of individuals.
Sometimes ppl dont want to deal with paying anything so they run away... it's called stupid and come in every single color.
