Like the title says, I need a favor from someone with a dual catch can setup. I would like some detailed picks of your install. The pcv side and the ccv side of things. I recently got the ADD W1 v3.3 and I have some concerns with the install instructions. So, I set it up in a way that makes more sense to me but I would like to see how a true dual setup is done. I'm pretty sure I have it in a way that is correct but I would just like to see some close ups of the connections and whatnot.

I have the instructions that came with the can. It's not a matter of not understanding them, it's more a concern of that the instructions are just wrong. The whole reason I picked this can was I thought it performed the duty of a dual can setup. It doesn't. According to their own instructions, it just provides dual vacuum to the pcv and then vents the ccv to the atmosphere. I don't see the point in that. I feel like a true dual can setup is going to be very different. Thanks for the info tho, the colorized version would have been a big help before ordering as it seems to be more clear.

Actually, looking again I just realized that IS a dual setup instructions and it is exactly as I thought. The v3.3 instructions are completely wrong.

Here is my install of the SXTHElement dual catch can setup. Don't know how similar it will be to yours, but maybe it will help.

Thank you. Between your post and Gtecko post, I feel better about how I set mine up. For anybody that buys the ADD W1 v3.3, ignore the instructions they send, they are completely useless and wrong

after thorough research, this is why I went with SXTH because instructions were easy and not to mention most of the folks on here think the dual setup is not really valuable on a stock or mostly stock Stinger. I think when you’re running JB4 and you’re pushing higher boost, more hp and tq than its better for it.

The ADD can is pretty good quality. I like the bracket and the materials of the can. Other than that, I'm not very impressed with it. I had to put in my own filter because it's just a baffled system. I should have paid closer attention before ordering, but that's my fault. If I were to go a different route, I would have gone with the mishimoto single can setup.

I only have the ADD W1 v3.3 Single CC setup. Are you saying the issue with the instructions is only related to the CCV side? Mine seems to be working fine using the install instructions.

Yeah, the ccv side is wrong. Pcv seems to be fine although I changed the port I used for that. On a single can setup, it shouldn't make a difference

I have the exact setup, and the directions are correct. I've installed two sets of these, in fact... Both my old and new Stinger have the ADD dual catch can setup.

Yes, the dual can setup instructions are correct, but the dual inlet and single outlet can instructions are wrong.

Oh, your thread title was confusing :D

The dual inlet catch can has one caveat, though: one side vents to atmosphere. It's the reason I got a dual catch can setup so that each side is set up identically.

Yeah, that's the problem with it. I didn't pay enough attention when I bought it. The reason I wanted the pics of a dual setup is to make sure there wouldn't be any problems with how I set up my single can. How I have it set up is how it will actually perform the function of dual cans using only a single.

If you used a T to merge some hoses, I'd be careful about pressure levels for a single can. I assume it can handle it, but it's something to consider since you're now trying to pressurize for both sides of the crankcase on a single can that may not have been designed for it.

That, and with two inlets and a single outlet, you might be pushing your luck with the filtering (also why I opted for dual catch cans, lol).

I routed the ccv vent to the inlet and the pcv vent to the inlet. It only has vacuum from the pcv side instead of trying to run vacuum from 2 sources which made no sense to me. I also only used a single check valve on the vacuum side. From what I've seen on here the ccv side barely produces any oil vapor. Most people's dual setups have a good amount of oil in the pcv can and hardly any in the ccv can. I may just plug one inlet and turn it into just a pcv can. I'm very disappointed in this can in general.
