How is your Bluetooth audio quality?

I think I've read it somewhere on this forum that Stinger's Bluetooth audio is pretty decent. I think someone went as far to say that Bluethooth audio actually sounds better than Android Auto.

However, I'm having a real issue playing audio via Bluetooth. I get these random static, once every few seconds and the audio quality is very poor It sounds totally flat, not bass and no highs.

When i play thru Androi auto, it sounds much better. However, I don't want to have to connect AA everytime I get in the car.

I have no problem in my previous car or any other car for that matter. They all sound pretty decent thru Bluetooth.

Any ideas?
My phone is Galaxy S8+ if that matters.

Thanks

I have found a difference in sound quality in every car I've owned playing it over BT vs a physical connection. I can hear a big difference in the Stinger if I disconnect my phone from AA and it switches to streaming, it gets quieter and doesn't sound as good to me. I have a Galaxy S10+.

I can live with that. However, do you get the high pitched static playing over BT?

That's what really bothers me.

No, I haven't experienced that issue, that almost sounds like some sort of interference.

I don't stream my music over BT very often, I like AA for things besides the music so it's my preference. I do wish it was wireless though, it would make things much easier.

Have you tried using BT on another phone? If the problem only happens on your phone then you know the source of your issue.

I stream BT audio 90% of the time and quality is as good as USB in my opinion.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

I'll give that a try.
