LAP3 just posted 600WHP Stinger GT

Stock LC has no boost, throttle is too low.

Wow. Why the heck were so many safety parameters put into place for a supposed 1000 NM transmission?? Makes zero sense to me. Either this car has a huge weak link, or the NM information is hugely off.

Good question. I don't know.

With launch control it has boost no?

Factory disabled boost on launch for some reason. Maybe they know something we don't in terms of longevity or maybe they are just being overly conservative. Easy to bypass and launch with as much boost as your wallet will allow. :)

I don't think it's disabled but the miniscule 25% throttle they give us is just enough to get us up to 0. :(

The throttle is 25% because the boost is well over target at 1psi. :)

If the trans is rated at rumored 800-1000 NM though I just can't make sense of it.

That does make sense but I wonder why I now get 2 PSI? I can hold LC longer and it stays at 2 PSI and the throttle stays steady. If Tork found the boost target in the tune he would have cranked it up a little more.

Yes it's something you should be able to change in the flash map. Would be nice if they could change it to 8psi or 10psi. :)

What is launch control doing if not building boost due to higher RPM launch? I guess I don't see what it's doing otherwise.
Controlling wheel spin. I’m pretty sure Kia limited the boost in first gear while using LC to limit traction issues which helped drop their initial 5.1sec 0-60 times in early 2017 testing down to the current 4.7sec for RWD models. This helps RWD versions but not sure why they did the same on AWD since they dont have the traction issues we do.
