Amber - switchback (blinking) function

Are there actually 2 lenses/LED strips? Or is it an optical illusion that the lights appear to be amber when used in blinking mode? Is it just orange-bleed from the turn signals?
Like a dual core processor, 2 cores on one chip but in this case 2 diodes on each individual led chipThis type of LEDs are called switchbacks. That basically means that you have two light colors, white and amber within the same strip. One diode produces the white light (DRL) and another diode produces the amber (Blinker), again everything within the same light strip. Hope this clears the confusion.
