First mods on my car (2019 Stinger gt2)
Ingen intakes
Catch can
Ark catback exhaust
Jb4 with fuel wires and Bluetooth
HKS 45il plugs ( to be installed today)
93 octane
my jb4 is installed and set to 0 on map selection, with the mods I have, what map setting should I run for dd and what map should I run on a 1/4 drag strip?, should I use boostane as I can’t find e85 or e30 and for what map?, I’m sure these questions have been asked but I’m new to the forum and haven’t found the search bar

Map 2 is the safest on 93 octane but depending on the quality of fuel and the IATs you might be able to run map 3. Send a log to Terry on N54tech and he can analyze it and let you know if everything is good. You might want to use some Boostane to raise your octane to 96+ to be able to safely run Map 3. You would probably need race fuel to run Map 5 and higher or you can also add on WMI to get the most out of your mods.

Map2 is the starting map for 93 octane and plugs.

So I should have no problem running Map 3 and Map 5/7 on just 93 octane (assuming re gapped Denso plugs)? Or do I need to add E85/higher octane mix to the higher maps?

You'll need race gas or E85 mixtures for maps over 2 in many cases. Some get away with map2 on 93 octane but you'd need to evaluate it on your specific car/fuel/climate.

Terry@BMS I have access to Sunoco 260 GT gas which is 100 Octane I believe. I have two questions:
1) what is the minimum mix for use in maps 3, 5, and 7? (I use 93 octane premium as my base fuel)
2) What is the ideal mix of the Sunoco 260 GT with the 93 octane base gas?

thanks!

The higher the mix of race gas the better for performance. 260GT+ is around 104 RM2 so good fuel to use.

There is no set requirement for each map as it will vary based on other mods, climate, base fuel quality, etc. But on straight race gas map7 should be fine. If you have timing drops drop down to map5. Map3 isn't that much stronger than map2 so you could run that with just a couple gallons of race gas added to pump or good octane booster on top of 93.

Ok. So for map 5, start at maybe 1/3-1/2 tank mix and see what my timing looks like. Adjust accordingly from there. What timing drops (differences) am I looking for on the IGN readings that would serve as warning signs of too low of octane mix?

Will doing this be safe for o2 sensors and cats? I guess "once-in-awhile" wont hurt.

Doing what?

Unleaded race gas only, lead eats up the primary o2 sensors, not worth the risks. JB4 has a good safety with the trim variance to save the motor but the sensors are not exactly cheap at $120/each.
