bought the GT little over a year ago. done nothing yet but ready to get into mods. done exhaust and intake on prior vehicles but nothing further. first up is intake as I really want to hear the turbos more than anything.

Intakes are a great start. I highly recommend the JTs. Well worth the money. Don't mind the price shown on their website as that is on AUSD not USD.
Catch cans are also a great investment as they will reduce the amount of carbon build up on the intake valves.

Another great addition is the JB4 fastest way to get in to the 400hp mark.

thanks for the info. will definitely check those intakes out
and saw that JB4 tuner before signing up. a bit scared of it, never done anything real tuning related, but definitely is tempting.

Best thing about this tuning box(or any) is that it can be taken off before being taken in to the dealership.

Usually ideal for keeping a warranty.

I was more afraid of installing the new spark plugs than the JB4. I can tell you that it was worth the time because the Stinger is so much faster now than stock. It pulls a lot harder and has a lot of tuning options. Terry has done a great job with the Map. Map2 is perfect with 91/93 Octane and stock Stingers. The power increase is substantial.

Hello. This is the right place to talk to modders; they are the most active segment on the forum.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. I'm glad to see you're making your Stinger exactly what you want it to be...

Thanks again for all the info
I've thought about the ability to remove to that tuner but if anything major ever happened I think he dealer could go back and run through the vehicles computer and see that it was running out of stock parameters? Guess it's just a small chance anyhow so probably worth the risk
Definitely doing intakes cause really want to hear some turbo whoosh
