Past Holden owner through and through. Had 3 sh....x Falcons and the dealerships were equally as bad. Happy with my purchase so far - just niggling differences that could be improved BUT maybe it is lack of familiarity.
Welcome LAINGY. Any pics of the new Stinger? You’ll get over being a Holden owner. It’s an infliction that clears up after a while.
MY 20 Snow White pearl with red upholstery NSW.G’day, welcome to the forum & to the Stinger Owners Fraternity, former Holden owner here too, there are a few of us.
What colour did you get & what city/state are you located at?
Put "accessories" on can't operate windows unless engine running & can't turn off accessories setting without re-starting engine and then turning off, otherwise can't get out & lock vehicle. Width of boot doesn't allow my golf clubs to be packed across the back - have to put a section of rear seat down & slide clubs partially through opening. Also, i have the boot mat, with a lip all round that stops access to the boot anchor points for a net etc.Welcome Laingy. Another ex Holden man here too. You’ll find lots of us here. Like SGTSS said, got some more deets? What’s niggling you?
My wife has had 2 KIA Ceratos without any issues over the last 15 years. Great write up by John Cadogan too - he calls a spade a spade. I traded a Calais VE V 6ltr with 200,000 on it and great straight body, no dings - passion red, so didn't want another red one staright away.Congrats on your new car, please show us some pics when you can. Welcome to the Hive.
Our family have owned Holdens and Fords in the past. Last 6 years had Kia's with no regrets, love my Stinger, so much fun to drive![]()
Also, to remove the plastic centre in the wheel, requires you to 1st locate the "slot" which is in the end of the "leg" directly above the "i" in KIA, and the screwdriver needs a plastic protector sleeve so you don't scratch the wheel, and you need to catch the cover before it gets damaged hitting the ground - a very firm fit, which is needed.Put "accessories" on can't operate windows unless engine running & can't turn off accessories setting without re-starting engine and then turning off, otherwise can't get out & lock vehicle. My new home town is Dubbo, NSWSnow White pearl with red upholstery NSW.
I've also had the windows tinted (not by the dealership) floor mats fitted and the moulded boot mat - see later comment re the lip obstructing the use of the 4 anchor points in the boot.Welcome LAINGY. To lift the wipers up don't try it manually otherwise you'll scratch t he bonnet. Pull the wipers stalk up and from memory tap the stop/start butto twice. If I'm wrong someone will correct me.
