Braulio is the man. Worked with me on multiple occassions, including getting me a brand new Stinger when mine had radio issues. No shit.

Mine had ~300 miles on it and the radio started turning itself off, I went in and they said they couldn't replicate the problem in the shop. Showed videos and they went out of their way to find me a ~50 mile Stinger from a different dealer. Same color. Same deal. Received it 3 days later tinted and clean.

lee johnson is a good dealer. i bought my mazdaspeed3 from them back in 2008.

Their service department has been good to me with my last Stinger and I will continue to service my car there.

Last week when I was looking at replacing my Premium with a GT1, the sales experience wasn’t what I was expecting and didn’t seem like they wanted to deal with me. So ended walking and got a better deal on a GT2 somewhere else then what they offered on their GT1.

I have been happy with them as well. But they seem to not want to deal unless you have that deal or a better deal elsewhere. I guess they are used to the wealthy people in the area paying top dollar. :)

Just got a Canadian 2018 GT2 from Lee Johnson. Last of a lot they purchased from a Canada. Brand new, paid $36k. Very happy with staff and company. My only wish, while small is this. With the purchase you get free car washes for a year. Turns out that the washed are the basic, not premium level. Would have been nice to have the premium level. The nicer my car looks, the happier I feel and more likely I am to "A" buy another car there and "B" tell friends about the place.

I know it is petty and would not cost me much to pay the difference each time, but it goes a long way to "feeling good" about the company you bought it from.

Kind of like the $1.50 hot dog and drink at Costco. There is a story about that "google it", but the short version is that no matter how much money you spend at Costco, when you buy the hot dog and drink for $1.50 you walk away from Costco happy about the overall experience. Costco doesn't make any money on that deal, but the customer satisfaction it gets them is immeasurable.

I highly recommend staying away from all automatic car washes. I removed my free car wash sticker pretty quickly and pitched it. I did go through once or twice in a moment of weakness in the winter and regretted it.

do you have access to the remote start app since it’s a CA build? That would be cool.

Looks like someone may have bought the GTS that was at Lee Johnson, I saw it driving on Redmond Way my way home today

Don't know, I will have to check, soo many new things to learn on this car.. :)

I saw one on Novelty Hill last week (if you are talking about the orange one), but then was at Lee Johnson after that and they still had the orange one there...

What about the no touch car wash, those seem pretty car friendly...

I spent almost 2 hours on the phone with Kia USA and Kia Canada trying to get the UVO app to work. The US UVO site does not recognize the Canadian VIN and the Canadian UVO site will not let me add the US address. Both support desks were very helpful.

In the end I set-up an account via the car's interface, yes it does connect to US cell towers. Then received a conf e-mail with the registration code, that allowed me to bypass the address fields of the registration. So now I can remote start/lock/etc., but so far only from the web. I can not seem to download the Canadian UVO app. Hopefully it will download the next time I'm in Canada, though I might have to change something on my phone as well to enable it. That said I can always just use the myuvo.ca site.

Also need to investigate the entertainment app..

Thats awesome! If you create a new Apple ID(assuming you have an iPhone) I believe you can set up the App Store country of origin to be Canada, which should allow you to download the app.

Nope running a Samsung I will try the settings on my phone. Was just thinking that maybe one of the Canadian Stinger owners might be able to download the UVO app from the Google app store and post it or PM it to me.

Those are better but use strong soap / chemicals i hear but im not a car wash expert by any means.
High pressure not the best either as some stingers paint doesn't like staying on the car. I had hundred or so chips the first 3k miles.
Protective film, no car washes!

I'm on the schedule for protective film next week in Totem Lake, going to do all of front end, halfway up hood, mirrors, door handles and area at base of trunk to prevent scratches when loading/unloading.. Plus going to get front windshield tinted for extra privacy, etc...

I bought my 2019 GT1 at LJ as well and thought it was a positive experience overall. I looked at your Canada GT2 and thought it was a screaming deal at $39K, $36K is an amazing deal for a car with 400 miles, congrats!

Highly recommend the clear bra, I have bumper, full hood, half fenders, mirrors, door pucks, door edges covered and it puts my mind at ease regarding rock chips (I'm too OCD). Had it installed on my last 2 cars as well and they looked mint when I sold them. Also had the paint ceramic coated which makes the car look super glossy (and helps mitigate swirls since it's black).

One of my co-workers was so impressed by my Stinger GT2 that he just went out and got a GT2 from Lee Johnson as well. Doing my part to spread the Stinger fever. ;)

Nice! Where do you work, if you don’t mind me asking? There’s about 5 or 6 at MSFT.

Great find. I can't recall another US buyer pulling a Canadian Stinger across the border.

I wouldn't want to "see" that PPF line across my hood every time I washed my car or even looked at it. Get PPF back to the rear edge, and wrap the film around that edge (in case you end up in Oregon and some maroon of a gas station attendant yanks your wiper back to clean your windshield; ask me how I know).
