Finally got a Stinger

Hello, and thanks for letting me join. I was not considering a stinger or even buying a car until next year. I was at the Memphis autoshow two weeks ago and saw the stinger and just had to go check it out. After talking to a couple Kia dealers about price and deals I bought one last Saturday. It is the Micro Blue 2.0 Premium, and I just love it. I really considered a GT2 but could not justify the extra expense for a commuter car. Now I just have to keep my wife out of it. She has driven it all weekend and said I might have to drive her CRV. Sorry about the crummy picture.

Welcome! If your wife wants the 2.0, give it to her while you trade in the CRV for a GT2 AWD! I use mine as a daily driver and it's made the usually shitty commute so much better by having a comfortable car. I also stopped caring if I didn't get to work at an early time. I just get in and enjoy the car and what it has to offer!

I'm sure he will, he will become OCD like most of us in keeping it clean and shiny. My neighbours definitely think I'm OCD, I try to keep in clean and it normally takes 3 hours by the time iv'e washed her, dried her, done chrome and tyres.(oh, and vacuumed inside etc )
Sonic is my pride and joy and I think it's nice to show people you take care of things. I haven't seen a dirty Stinger yet.

Welcome and congrats on your beautiful stinger. I'm jealous of your blue! I tried really hard to find Atomic blue in my area. Thankfully, I don't have to fight with anyone to drive my shiny new baby. Good luck keeping the wife out but I fear you may have already lost the battle.

I will, it is only a week old and I already have. My wife says I'm ocd about the cars, I tend to wash all four of them weekly.
