Tires for 20x9+30 and 20x10.5 +45

Depends on the look you want.

Depending on the wheel and tire brand you run the risk of having a stretch with 275s (not all brands are true to size).

285s will give your wheels more protection against curb damage, fill the wheel well better, and provide better traction.

You are running those sizes right?

Do you have poke? I prefer flush or even a little sucked in. Not a big fan of poke.

But hate rubbing.

I have 285s. No poke/stretch. I originally ordered 275s but I was terrified of the prospect of the tires looking stretched so I went up a size.

how do the 285's do on some bumpy twisties? are you getting any rub??? what is the offset? I assume the car is on Eibachs??

I have a driveway with a ramp, I regularly have to deal with speedbumps and my neighborhood has ditches that I've seen make other cars scrape..but I haven't. Regardless of suspension mode, I've yet to rub.

how has handling increased or decreased with 285-30-20 rear, and 235-35-20 front been for anyone? I am looking at the upgrade with this size... same brand of tires as stock, and my car has full eibach kit on it... I just don't want any rubbing on the stuff when I might be on some bumpy dippy twisties... offset would be 38 front, 40 rear... standing by for comments, advice on peeps that have already done this upgrade

What tire sizes should I use?
245/35/20 and 285/30/20 ? Or 275/30/20 ?

AWD lowered on eibachs
Overall tire size will depend on tire brand and tire model chosen. Some tire manufactures run wider or narrow than others for a given size. In my experience Falken ran narrow, so keep that in mind.

yea, I did realize that. I am staying with the Michelin Pilots on the car, just in the upgraded size of 20's

So let me understand this correctly you guys are running 20 by 9s in the front and a 20 by 10 and a half in a rear and that fits? And are those offsets first noted proper so that is not hitting inside steering suspension components and not hitting the outside lip?

20*9 30+ offset 20*10.5 45+ offset?

Yep. And lowered.

Lastly is there any lip rolling involved I've always had to do that in all my cars with wide sizeslike this?

I was so happy to see eibach having springs and sway bars I worked there for five years in Corona California

275/30/20 on 10.5" rims here. They are not wide enough for me. I am going to order 285's very soon

kevin,
See attached. I will be happy to post up pics of the 285's once they are mounted. I'm hoping this fixes my dissatisfaction with how my Stinger looks.

No need to touch the fenders as long as you don't go nuts with the offsets or tire sizes. 20x9 with offsets in the +30s and 20x10.5 with at least +40 offset and 245 front and 285-295 rear works just fine. You can do 255 up front but at that point front offset starts to get a bit more important to get right.
