Hi everyone, I just bought a new 2019 GT Limited in thunder grey 2 days ago. Unfortunately, I could neither find an atomic blue or a thunder grey with red leather interior model in my area. Still love the colour and the car though. I've mostly been lurking on here the past few weeks.

It's been pouring here the last week with no end in sight so the car is a little wet and dirty but she is my beautiful baby.

Yeah I REALLY wanted the grey and red interior, but in the UK they are rare as hens teeth in a Stinger world that is already rare.

So for mine red exterior will have to do.

Just like me, I'm, already in love with her. Wife came with on 1st test drive and immediately liked it too. Got kids approval too.

Enjoy the ride, and sadly wet here in the UK (of course)

G’day, welcome to the forum & congratulations on your new Stinger it’s a load of fun, so enjoy.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. Congratulations on your Stinger GT! I'm glad you signed up. Sorry to hear about the rain! It can't last forever... :p What did the Stinger replace for you?

I was driving a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer SE with less than half the horsepower but 3/4 the weight of my shiny new stinger.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...

Howdy! Your car can't really look dirty until the rain dries. The lower areas can be wiped down carefully with a hot soaking towel, and then just walk away and let it rain and bead all purty on everything. Rain that keeps coming down can't have much if any dirt in it; that's a plus of it raining all the time. I just now wiped my car down under the carport after driving in a soaker. Why waste a perfectly good "car wash"?

Your not worried of scratching all that stuck on road grime the rain brings out into your paint. Merlin...I'm starting to wonder my friend.

You look for road grime, gravel, grit, dirt. It you can't see it, it ain't there. And, NO RUBBING! Just tons of water: start high, drag the dripping towel down in a continuous motion. NO RUBBING! It's a choice between leaving grit on the lower parts of the car (and hating how it looks), or cleaning up often to prevent buildup. Rain on a great paint job looks good! Just try and not let it dry if you can: seize your opportunities for a "free" car wash. Microfiber, laid on and whisked off: glass buffed dry: and the whole baby looks great after a rain storm.

(edit to elucidate: those of us living in rainy areas, e.g. NW coastal USA, don't have to worry about hard freezes. You can leave a garden hose hooked up 24/7/365. So the "hot, soaking towel" ploy isn't the best tool: a "schnozzle" kept ready to hand is the best approach to road grit on the lower skirts of the wheel wells and fenders and bumpers, etc. Spray this crap off as soon as you stop: get a little damp if you have to, staying outside to clean the baby off. Then, let it keep on raining. Rain beads look GOOD! Road grit looks like the crap it is.)
