  • I want an option for mechanical front+rear LSD like my STI had. Stinger is open diffs all around, so the stinger eats its brake pads to get traction.
  • I honestly can't tell one whit of difference in suspension setting between comfort, eco, and sport. Whatever settings kia is using is too little difference to tell. Would be nice if sport was actually noticeably stiffer than comfort.
  • Rear window wiper, god dammit.
  • True wagon option. Sportback is just ok, a wagon would give even more practicality.
  • USB / accessory port in the center console. Even my old 2007 mazda3 had these.
  • Kick sensor to open trunk.
  • Oil filter on top of the engine bay like other modern vehicles.

You my friend are a prime candidate for the Mando ECS tuner module, the standard setting it comes with make a difference in Comfort and Sport, plus you have 4 Custom modes you can tweak to your liking.

I’m a wagon fan and like that rear wiper option however, on the Stinger, those aren’t options I’m yearning for. Now if they made a wagon variant, with a performance hybrid setup and kept the price palatable, I might be tempted.

Who wants to be kicking anything? You can just stand there for a couple of seconds with the key in your pocket/bag and the trunk will open. It’s a GT2 option but would be nice to have across all models.

There’s a world of difference between sport and comfort suspension

I know the Engineers designed the suspension in the Aus Stingers to suit the Australian roads so I find the difference between Sport and Comfort mode is like chalk and cheese.

In the US market, it’s minor but you can tell. If one is comparing it to other vehicles, that is when find it to be quite slight. The settings are only comfort and sport, in Eco mode, the suspension is in Comfort. It’s a 2 mode system, not 3.

I've never been able to notice a difference between the two. I've just accepted the opinions of folks more knowledgeable than I. I'm not much of a canyon carver/racer anyway.

Kick sensor are you kidding. If I want the hatch to open in my Stinger I just have to stand behind it for about 2-3 seconds. I think it's funny watching people with arms full of groceries etc. standing on one leg whilst frantically waving the other one around the back of the car. I have UBS in console and in the back. I have some bumpy railroad tracks that I cross frequently at low speed and I notice a huge difference going over those between comfort and sport. Came from a wagon, didn't want another...love the hatchback.

In my 3.3TT i dont notice a difference in the suspension between all modes.
