20 minute drive...endless embarrassment for the wife:)

My wife says my bass is too loud. I can hardly listen to any of my music with her in the car: turned waaay down it is just pointless.

Can't say anyone has actually commented to me in person about the car in my six months of ownership. But you can be driving down the road and a car suddenly comes charging up beside you and starts driving level with you. I think they are having a look at the car, either wondering what it is or admiring it i suppose. It is weird sometimes.

Do you notice a lot of people will check the car out in their side mirrors ? then there are people like you mention that drive fast up to you to check out what it is, then they back off and then there's those who visible gawk at the car at the lights.

Don’t forget the ones who want the 360 degree look, like I had yesterday with a BMW, that come up behind quite fast, hold back a bit then overtake you slowly (on a motorway) taking a peek, drop into the lane in front of you and then slows down so you have to then pull out to overtake them, drop in front of them keeping the same speed, then after about a minute of them lingering behind they pull out, overtake and zoom off.

My husband just calls me "Obsessed", shakes his head and then usually walks away any time I start talking cars, which is quite often especially about my Stinger.

My hubby is exactly the same, he thinks I'm " obsessed " with the car, well he does have a point, I do spotto's and take pic's of other Stingers, excitedly tell him Iv'e seen another one, Iv'e shown him the dash cam footage of others checking it out and he sees me having a cuppa now and then admiring my car in the garage. You don't think Iv'e got it bad do you ?

I forgot to mention I had changed all the badges the day before so they were probably wondering what the heck it was.

Yep and that too hubby took it out with a mate a few weeks back, where they were sitting having a drink they could see the car, he told me a couple walked past checking it out. The woman stood in front staring at the K badge and came away looking rather perplexed

Just yesterday driving up to stop sign with the sunroof open and windows closed, I came up to stop sign. A couple walking their dog crossed the street in front of my Stinger. Both looking at the car I hear the woman say “wow, what Is it.” The man says, “Don’t know but it’s sharp!!”

Showed my buddy the car at party the same day and he asks “what is it a Maserati?”

Nope it’s a Kia!!!

I've only had mine for two weeks, and EVERYONE keeps complimenting me on it. All my neighbors came over just to look at the car, including one who had no idea what it was "thats a KIA?!" . A few people in the streets do double takes.

However, it does not impress the women in the family. My wife kinda likes it, she still thinks its "just a Kia" but every time I tell her to floor it, I think she likes it more!

Yes I do think you have it bad Flame, but no more than the rest of us.

It doesn't matter where you are in the world, but some wives are all the same. That is just what my wife says about it. 'Just a Kia.'

I’ve had plenty of comments and questions since I bought the stinger. Lots of people who are blown away it’s a Kia. The best was a guy who drove up beside me, rolled down his window and started yelling questions at me as we drove down the road.

I don't know what is up with Mustang and BMW drivers, very commonly I encounter a stupid 20 something boy harassing me trying to race my Stinger while I'm trying to commute comfortably on my Stinger....
