JB4 mapping

I was having a dyno tune done to my 2.0t at SOLO motorsports in Atlanta.. they informed me that they were not able to do the tune on my particular stinger because the CPU was one digit off??? With my permission they ordered the JB4 (just the tuner)and installed and set to MAP1. Do I have to spend another 140 to get the wireless kit to change the mapping?

Side question- is map1 the best for daily drive?

Eric, I don't know if you're aware of that, but be careful about pushing the car too much with stock spark plugs. Their gap is too wide (0.036" IIRC, when JB4 recommends 0.022" to 0.026" gap even for stock cars)

Oh yes. They did gap the plugs to 0.026 as recommended. Did you also get the oil catch can? They recommended that as well.

My car is still stock (got it 2 days ago), but I would definitely think about the oil catch can. The carbon build-up prevention WILL make your engine though way longer and deliver more power steadily in the long term.

Yes I agree. Gotta take it slow or I will go broke though lol

You will need one of the two cables/wires to change maps.
