Hi Everyone,
This afternoon I'm going to the dealer to negotiate to purchase 19 Stinger GT.
Attached is what I got from truecar for the dealer that I am visiting. Do you think I have more room to negotiate? Do you think they will even honor the price that is on truecar?

Current KIA Stinger deals:
Conquest (Competitor) Rebate: $2000
Cash back and APR Discount: $2750 AND 3.5% APR
Dealer Cash from Manufacture: $3000 (Although dealers not obliged to use it as discount)

What price is Truecar showing for your zip code?

That’s a pretty high doc fee even for GA... a search tells me $500 is the average. Doc fees are pure profit, so I think you could work down further. They’re taking $2300 off MSRP but I would aim for at least $3000 off.

Tax isn’t listed - be sure you’re aware of what you’ll be paying out the door.

Its for 30096

They may hit you with an addendum (paint sealant, leather protection, nitrogen, etc) when you go into the dealer and say that it wasn't factored into the price you got online. Don't pay 1 penny for anything on the addendum.

We pay the TAVT now in GA. I’m 8n Gwinnett Co as well.

Yeah I am aware of that. Hope to bring couple grand down and bring this baby home. Nice! I live in Fulton County but I feel like I always get the best cars deals in Gwinnett Co dealerships.

I misread your first post - I see what you attached is the TrueCar price and not what the dealer offered. I do think you can do a little better as I mentioned earlier - so long as you qualify for each of the rebates shown (competitive, special financing + bonus cash, military).

I would bring a printout of the TrueCar price but only show it if you can't negotiate to where you want to be. You can use it to show where you're getting your numbers if they ask, but as I think you may be able to do better I would hold onto it.

I'd figure out what taxes will be and add it to the TrueCar quote. Then, start your negotiations at least $1k below that amount (how much more is up to you, but I personally wouldn't end up any higher than that). Negotiate only on the out the door price (absolutely all costs, including tax) that way they won't bother hitting you with bogus fees and add-ons.

So about that.. how do you actually not pay for any of them. Should I say since the original breakdown didn't show those items included I have no obligation to pay for it? Thank you for your help.

Always negotiate on the "out the door" price. That way their dealer doc fee can be whatever they want, they can include whatever add-ons they want. But, none of it will matter to you as you're only paying the amount you agree to in negotiations and not a dollar more.

Once you move into the finance office, they'll probably try to sell you warranties. Decline everything politely and stick to your out the door number for the best deal.

Addendums are pure profit, anything on them costs the dealer very little to nothing. Just say you're not paying for it, that's all. Don't give any reason, they'll have a counter for any argument you could come up with so just don't give a reason.

So I went in around 6:30 PM. Test drove the car got my initial price and it was way off. After all the nonsense you have to go through my OTD was $34249.86. Basically $1,100 off before taxes from my truecar price. Maybe I will try another dealer but I feel like I can get at least another $1k off on OTD.

I purchased the panthera mental GT yesterday. After few different quotes received from multiple dealerships, I settled for OTD $33,750. Remote Starter was included. I'm happy about the price. Love the car. :)

You paid $5000 more than you were quoted on Thursday, and you're happy???
