Winter Rim Setups

for those who have purchased the winter rims (eg: FC04 , Touren TR65 and more) could you share the rims size for the 18'

want to get ahead and have those ordered now
Most likely 8 or 8.5

FC04 18x8 +30 offset squared. Rode on them all last winter without issues.

Got them at pmctire.com shipped to my house direct with michelin icex3 tires mounted and balanced. All I had to do was jack up the car and install them.

looking at the page right now, good pricing !
however I only see offset 35 to be offered :
Browse steel wheels, alloy wheels, replica wheels and rims - PMCtire Canada
Good pricing but it adds up quick, mine were $2400ish all-in ready to install with tpms, lug nuts and everything.

They have +30, you just have to enter your model on the homepage and then select the 18" wheel option they offer and click to look at alloys. The FC04 will be in +30 on pages 5 and 6 I believe. Their direct search function isnt all that great.

I rode on 18x8 FC04 +40 offset equipped with 225/45/18 Toyo Observe GSI-6HP squared all of the harsh '18-'19 Canadian winter and was/am very satisfied with it! They look nice and weren't very expensive...around 875 CAD total (taxes & shipping included). Bought them from here : WheelWiz | Fast Wheels FC04 Titanium 18x8 +30 5x114.3mm 72.6mm - Titanium - FC04 - Fast Wheels - Wheels

that's an awesome price, didn't think we could go +40 for the offset and 225 / 45 / 18

That's the standard size for 18" tires/wheels on our car, 225/45/18 that is. And yeah, the price was great, can't complain about that! (BTW, 875CAD was the price for the wheels alone, not for the tires+wheels).

If I remember correctly, the perfect offset is +34, but you can go with +30/+35/+40 and you'll be fine. The 40s will be a tiny bit more on the "inside" of the car, which, during winter time, isn't a bad thing. Snow/Ice/Slush will be less directed on the side of the car and more inside the wheel well...I mean, if for you, 10mm really is a big deal! ;)

Looking for 18" black winter wheels that don't require lug adapters any recommendations, i'm guessing most if not all after market need centering rings too?

Just ordered these from Tire Rack for my winter setup, the rep said 40mm would be best for winter.

This is what I put on my '19 GT1 AWD upon delivery in January. The wheels are +40mm offset. I was very happy with the combination in a fairly snowy winter. I went with Blizzaks since I had them on my '03 WRX through at least ten winters and they performed great. I think any of the flowformed Enkei's are a great value--lightweight and don't break the bank. It looks like the Blizzak WS80's are on a closeout sale at Tirerack for $144 each.

Did you need lug adapters for those wheels?

Hello Christopher, I am considering a similar setup from tire rack. They are trying to sell me an expensive TPMS tool to initialize the new wheel sensors to the car. Did you find it necessary to initialize the sensors with a special tool? How did you handle the issue ?

No special tool needed for me just bolted up my new wheel package and drove and the car recognized them and worked just fine. Maybe they use a cheaper universal tpms that requires a tool or something? Or perhaps theyre just a tool.
