Hello. Thanks for the add! I don’t have a Stinger (yet), but have been fired up since is was announced, and had the opportunity to participate in market research for it, and Kia’s pricing and trim research. which I’m sure is no different from most people already on this forum!)

Anyways, thanks again for the add, I’ll be lurking and asking questions along the way as I shop for mine.

Thanks
Billy

Welcome aboard, @Billy M! Thank you for signing up! I'm glad you found us. You're in the right place to do research before you buy! What was at the top of your list before you discovered the Stinger?

Srt charger. And yeah there’s a large power deficit, but the Stinger is so much better looking.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Pretty cool car. How do they stack up performance-wise? I mean, if you have a Hellcat - there's really no challenge. But otherwise?
Less than 0.5sec to 60. Smooth ride (magnetic suspension), large comfy interior. The Kia interior feel more like a cockpit, and I dig that

Yes, the Grand Tourer Stinger is meant to be more comfortable and luxurious. It's definitely a great combination of power, sport, comfort, and versatility...

Hello all. Like Billy, I too don’t have a Stinger yet but went and looked at one for the first time on Friday.

Billy - Have you made the decision as to whether you are going with the Stinger or the Charger yet? I ask because I am torn between the Stinger GT1 and Charger Scat Pack right now.

Welcome to the forum! Can you describe what your research participation involved?

Stinger GT2. My wife hates the charger no matter how good that 6.2L sounds.

It was all multiple answer questions Like what price would be too high? What price would make you think that quality was lacking?
One section would list a trim level, and give options on what it should have, from leather selection to wheel size, tire type, stereo option. And yes guys I selected limited slip rear end, and the GT2 gear selector for all GT trim levels.
Some were geared toward finding out what you think of when you see the Kia name.
What vehicles I saw as market competition.

I see. They should also ask current owners and other KIA owners what they think to gauge responses for updates to make for the 2019 vehicles. When the Optima first launched, I remember they were having folks sign up to drive them at the auto shows. They should do this as well as hold some driving events like they did for the press where you folks can learn about them and drive them on a autocross setup, like they did for the press.

Welcome to the forums Billy,

What a cool opportunity to be apart of that! Hopefully see you in a Stinger soon
