New 3.3L Catback option(s)

Good to know! Where did you order your Borla from?

Last time I mentioned where I got something in this thread I was turned into a Terrorist in the eyes of the admins on here... I bought it from a wholesale supplier I have access too for my personal purchases, that does not sell to retail directly, nor do they allow anyone using their services to sell the products retail themselves... so any admin reading this can take a chill pill as I'm not promoting or showing intent to do anything besides answer the guys question.

Most major retailers in Canada carry Borla. t-dot, mopac, jbpower and so on for example.

Here's a quick video of a cold start

Another good one to consider that has a lot of kia parts in Canada is Uniq Performance:

Product categories STINGER 2017+ Archive | UNIQPERFORMANCE

I bought my Eibach prokit plus from tdot, but they don't really list or carry many other products for the Stinger

@ecko04 What is the diameter of the tips on the MBRP exhaust? I'm planning on attaching a set of aftermarket exhaust tips to them and am banking on them being 2" like the OE tips. I know the tube diameter of the exhaust before the mufflers is 2.5" but i'm assuming they use 2" pipe for the tips so that it's the same as OEM.

I recommend Uniqueperformance as well for my fellow Canucks. I ordered the MBRP exhaust from them and should have it on Monday. Rob kept me well informed and got the product to me faster than I anticipated.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
How do you like the MBRP exhaust ?

Sounds great!!!
Did you go with SS or aluminum ?

It's pretty nice but sounds great when you get on it. I just got it yesterday and installed it this afternoon with a set of gorilla ramps lol.
Didn't really have time to mess with it too much. And that's my only mod so far is the exhaust.

I just purchased the SS version as well. Should be here this weekend. Any issues with drone on the highway yet?

Mine has arrived and is sitting on my shop floor waiting for me to have time to install it.

This

is a dumb question, whats the difference between SS and aluminum for the exhausts?

In places that have actual winter weather or are close to saltwater aluminized metals will rust and fall apart rapidly where SS will not.

Much appreciated. In that case I might as well go the borla route since it's about the same as the SS version.

No problem. I will almost certainly be going MBRP I do not like the tinny reverb from the Borla. It sounds 1 million times better in person, but it is still there, to me anyway.

I did a custom axle back and the shop I did it at screwed me over. Had deletes done, then went back cause of extreme drone and vibration, added drone tubes, was still real bad then went back, they added magnaflow mufflers with the drone tubes and it was bearable but still bad at certain ranges. What makes it worse was they said they wouldn't charge me but kept charging me to get it fixed even though I asked for the tubes from the start. First time doing any muffler work so it was my fault for trusting. They cut the bolt on area so I can't even go back to stock lol. Only choice now is a catback. I already dropped a grand and a half at the shop which literally would have been a borla lol so when I saw MBRP for 800 I was like gotta get on it but then realized there were two which led me to asking the difference.

@MackyGio since you are in the UK, I would go with the AL version, you wont get as much snow or salty roads as we do in Canada
