Took the Stinger for a short (130 miles) road trip here in Iowa. It was warm so was using the air conditioning. When I got home was surprised to see I got 28. 3 miles to the gallon. The only time I got on the gas was when I was passing slower cars. The Stinger does a good job passing on two way back roads. Also, I was driving in comfort mode the whole time.

With peak torque available from 1300rpm in the 3.3T engine, the Stinger seems to be V8-like in its ability to lope-along highways with good fuel economy.

And like V8s, to suck juice at an alarming rate when you get up it. :)

"I pass fast" is the mantra I wanted to be able to say every time someone asked why I like this car. :D It is the reason I chose the 3.3L. And I do enjoy trying to push my mpg toward 30 on the highway. How close can I get? That's always in the back of my mind. Of course, it vanishes when the next passing "opportunity" presents itself.

About to make a 2200-mile round trip, and I'm interested in seeing what the 2.0T serves up. The nearest thing I've done to a road trip was a 400-mile roundtrip we made a couple months ago. I got an indicated 36 mpg on that one.

I did an 800 mile roundtripper a few weekends ago, and got about 33 mpg. That included some sitting in traffic and drive through time with the ac blasting. Very happy with the 2.0t so far.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
I'll never see the ~30 or so you 2.0 guys get, but you'll never see the performance I get. Fair trade. :)

True. It takes us 1.3 seconds longer to get to 60. (Heck, it took a lot longer than that for me to type that! :D)

Which trim level do you have? I wouldn't imaging that kind of gas mileage happening on GT, GT1, and GT2 trim levels....

GT2 personal best. Driving through a storm averaging 60mph. MPG dropped when the weather cleared and I could go 80 again.IMG_20190616_175922.webp

Stephen's right, 3.3L mileage isn't that bad if you can behave yourself. AWD might take a slight hit. Here's another from tonight.

"Not that bad!?" LOL! It could hardly be worse (you might want to insert a "0" in there judiciously. ;)).

I meant 3.3L, not 3.3 MPG, fixed it for ya
