Pinstriping

Is anyone planning on adding pinstriping? When I get my Ceramic Silver GT2, I will be adding a black and red stripe.

I hadn't thought about that....but that might look quite awesome. Have you done some mockups or photoshops of what you're planning to do?

Haven't got the car yet. I haven't done any mockups. I figured I'd take it to an expert to help me come up with ideas. I was hoping someone here might have some ideas.

Along the edge, just above the door handles, that runs from the taillights to the amber side markers on the back of the headlights. Two thin lines and in the case of the ceramic silver, one red and the other black.

IMHO ..........................dont do it . I dont think it doesnt add anything and takes away from the beauty of the design .......................sometimes , less is more ............( sorry )

I agree with west coast. The only stripe that might look good is a racing stripe down the middle..

Unfortunately, with limited Photoshop skills - that would take me a lot longer than I have time to do. I'd love to do it - but I just don't have the free time available. We need a better Photoshop person...

Great job but is it possible to make them thinner at a later date. I have gotten the car yet. That might look better and not be distracting.

I think it has possibilities. Once I get my car, I will take it to a pinstriping shop and get their take on it. I've had striping on my Infiniti G35 and my current Subaru Legacy and it really makes a difference.

Pinstriping, professionally done by someone who's keen to accentuate certain body lines can look shockingly good. I've not considered it on the Stinger. But I'm sure we'll see someone's idea soon enough (or perhaps too soon).

this look is not bad and something similar to this "RAFA SPECIAL EDITION" they released this week here in Oz.
it can work on the bottom end with slightly more fancy angle to it!

am looking into it by some pro guy to do me a layout b4 I go ahead.

I might try something like this around the brake vents with vinyl striping. If I don't like it ... off it comes. The red striping along the bottom and inside the brake ducts might look sweet too. No stripes on the sides for me.

Welcome aboard, @Morky! Thank you for signing up. Which Stinger do you have? I like the looks of that sticker. I'd like to see it on a color version of the Stinger and in various colors for the decal as well...
