First, second and third thing to come to mind when they think "KIA". Until they see the Stinger, look again, walk around one, then drive one. Poof! There goes everything they thought was KIA. They may suffer cognitive dissonance for a long while, but the truth will smack them down: warranty, looks, reliability, utility, applies to all modern Kia models. And then the Stinger takes all of that and adds on looks-plus (sporty design, comfort, features and performance).
I dunno, I own one and of course love it and that's still what I think . I'm still worried that it's going to sound like a bucket of bolts in a month, but damn it I'm going to love it until it does.
"Total lemon" is rare with any brand. The only one I know of in all the years was a friend's VW 412: total lemon hardly begins to describe that vehicle, bought new. The light green paint was pretty, though.

The Rabbit was pretty okay, though. At least the green and white ones my parents bought seemed like sound little cars. Much more practical than the Beetle that they "replaced".
