Beautiful Custom Stinger !

....................geez , what a bunch of boring old farts you guys are :laugh::laugh::laugh:

Boring old[ish] fart, and proud. That is a very unattractive wrap. And I've never liked the "wheels disappearing up inside the wheel wells" look. Ultra stupid, imho. What a waste of time and dough. :P (It's evil twin is the raised look, with ass in the air, then drop the ass and raise the nose, and do that "hump up and down" thing up and down the street. Not with a Stinger, no.)

Edit to be nicer: I guess it's at least interesting to look at.

Im 43, but I guess I do have an old man mentality. That car does nothing for me other than make me cringe.

It’s got one thing going for it..... it’s a Stinger! Other than that - I’m out on this one. db

Nice steering wheel.

I like the black half more than the camo half. Agreed on the bagged look, I'm not a fan of form in spite of function.

OK, this is the Stinger that used to look like this, right? [Photo from March of 2018 when we were at Kia in Irvine; sorry for the poor resolution]

I'm sure some people think everyone my age is a boring old fart, but I kind of like both versions. Come on, guys, it's ART, and it's not like he's going to leave it that way forever, anyway!

But then, I grew up a few blocks from Whittier Blvd., the home of custom lowriders on hydraulics, so criticize me for liking the art if you will! My Stinger will stay stock, but I love it when someone gets creative with theirs!

Nice splitter.

Some people think the Civic type R looks good. People like that do things like this..

I can't get past how low the back is, I don't like that wheel tuck look. Probably look alright if it was raised two inches.

Isn't that the point of air suspension? You can lower/raise it to your taste or needs? When you're doing a photo shoot and want an artsy, exaggerated look, great. When you need to hit the freeway, great too.

The rational person deep inside me just wonders at the cost of bagged suspension, the loss of trunk storage space (not that we suffer in that department) for the sake of dropping the car to take photos.

I don't disagree with the art of it, just have a hard time getting over the cost of the art, and personally, I think this drop looks perfect (even better with the little extra weight of the AWD ;)) (thanks @Kamauxx )

Thanks. It's actually RWD. AWD has a more even rake with Eibach's springs.
