Made the jump from RaceChip to JB4

@Terry@BMS question installing my Jb4, can i run map2? Got 91 octane, denso spark plugs and mid pipe. And my Intake will be here next week! And i need to purchase the Jb4 App.

I just got my plugs in courtesy of FAST of West Chester in PA. Soon as I could I turned on Map 2. Didn't notice a world of difference from Map 1 but with the fuel lines active I didn't think I would. Intakes are next and I imagine I will feel a big difference. Right now the car goes scary quick to 100mph.

I run Octane 93+ but what I hear you can run Map 2 on 91 with no issues. You need the App to switch the map from Map 1 to map 2 and the plugs. You don't need the intakes, but to get the full benefit of Map 2 you do need them.

Should be OK unless the 91 octane is really bad. You can post a JB4 log here on map2 and we'll help you evaluate it.

I was in sport! I will try a log again once I get my extended USb cable. Right now I have to lay my phone down near my pedals to get a log going and run it constantly until I get a chance to pull over.

Don’t waste time using Comfort mode... Sport mode works best and will get the most out of the JB4.

How only way i can do that is at night time! Like what kind of speed we talking about here?

Normally logs only come in to play during full throttle so next time you go racing then log it and we can evaluate. Until then just enjoy.

Mashing the pedal fully on freeway onramps will do. 20-70...ish roll on logs okay.

Looks fine from what I can see... You need a pedal tuner though to really get that 100% throttle it seems!

You’re still barley at 50% pedal input and must not be flooring it for a WOT pull. Have you done any WOT pulls yet? If not the ECU hasn’t even learned to advance timing, etc. and has even more potential for power.
