• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Pictorial where did you go in your Stinger today

Wait, why "former"? I missed something.

A leisurely 2hr 15min drive to Wisemans Ferry and back.

Did you come across on the ferry or just turn and go back through Windsor? Should’ve come across to Gunderman and then headed up Wisemans Ferry Rd back to Somersby then onto the Old Pacific Hwy back down to Hornsby
Totally agree, that’s a good drive.

Lots of twists and turns on Wisemans Ferry Rd on the top side of the river, only down side is limited phone reception if something goes wrong. Plenty of twists and turns on the Old Road back to Hornsby too, better than the boredom of 3 lanes of the M1 filled with idiots that tailgate and cut across lanes without warning.

No, decided against ferry and just went back via Castle Hill after a stretch in park opposite.

A few 15kph advisory turns on descent. Was tempted to turn traction off on return leg but resisted.

Tried the Alpine Loop again today, this time with my wife (it is our "date day", which we do each Tuesday). Aggravatingly, the upper part is still closed. It looks like it might be a while yet. I saw a dump truck and a tractor working the road, cleaning off a lot of mud and gravel; looks like it was a hard winter and we had some erosion. That was just down near the closed gate. Who knows what's up further up? Anyway, here are some pics:

The closed gate (aaagain)

The junky road; looks like a single lane surfaced with an "improved" road alongside; but actually the road is that clogged with debris from runoff

Great view

Nice I can almost smell that fresh mountain air.

Yesterday we drove over to Park city (skiing season is well over and done) where our son and grandchildren (and his girlfriend) are vacationing this week, and we went hiking for a little bit up onto a foothill. I could have found a better lookout point (sans so much up close "shrubbery", heh), but this composite of three cellphone pics is what it is:

Well, on this thread it does say "Pictorial". And you have only barely made a start toward a thousand words. So by that ratio, your post is like the first brush stroke. I'm not seeing it yet, the "lovely" part, I mean. :P
