I just thought I'd share this from the technology forum because I just tried it on my Aussie Stinger and the access to Engineering Mode worked. I had a quick look and there's definitely some interesting settings and adjustments in here...
The video below shows how to gain access - you basically just go to the screen saver settings, touch the bottom of the screen in 3 locations (left corner, centre, right corner) starting at the left and do 7 touches. It then brings up a code to enter and this is simply the time showing on the clock (eg 08:28 so code is 0828).

I saw this a few months ago. I'm on 12.5 and I wasn't able to get the engineering mode to show up with the tap sequence.
I could be an idiot though, if any US Stingers on 12.5 manage to get it to show up, that'd be cool.
Edit: I watched his videos, you can see the tap sequence of him going into engineering mode here. You need to navigate to the screensaver options and do the 7 taps. If anyone on 12.5 wants to try, let me know if it works. My car is going to be in the shop for a few weeks. Starts at 2:30.
