Help...need stock 255hp ecu file.

Guys, please help.

I have 2.0 4wd Stinger with 197 hp (it is the same car to EU / US 255hp model, same ecu part number, but restricted to 197 hp because of our taxes).

I need very much stock 255hp ecu file. So I can adjust it and flash it to my car.

Its not that simple but you could mail your ecu to Tork Motorsports and they could give you 255 hp or about 300 hp if you want it.

M8, I don't have problems adapting 255hp file for my car. The problem is that I don't have us / eu base file. And tuning from 197-hp file is stupid from my point of view, when there is a stock base file wich makes 255hp.

The problem is that very few shops are ECU tuning these cars and even fewer are tuning the 2.0T. It's not a matter of which file to use, it's a matter of nobody having the base file to start with.

Base file for the 2.0 is available online to buy. I forgot the sites but i know there are a few.

Wrote to few of them. They asking for my original file (this is a bit strange). Why the hell do they need my file. I don't want to remove ecu twice. And I just need a stock 255 hp (not modified in any way) ecu file.

I think they need to clone yours as the ECU is tied to the car. Copy the signature for the new tune. You cant just copy another cars ECU or run another cars ECU with out getting CEL.

I can clone it myself. I will do everything, i just need stock file for eu / us market.

If you have those capabilities with the ECU and if there are no mechanical differences between your car and a 255HP 2.0T, you could just find a tuner and raise the car's power yourself.

M8, it would take more time to figure out the difference between 197hp file and 255hp. Also I don't want to raise anything above 255hp. I just want full stock power in my car with stock file made by Kia.

The reason for this is simple. I don't know the limits what this engine can handle. There is no info about tuning of those cars.

If you want the stock file because it's the OEM file, sure. I can understand that. But assuming nothing MECHANICAL is changed from the Stingers in your market and the one sold here, there's no reason that you couldn't just tweak them and raise the power to match that of a 255HP Stinger if that's what your main goal is. There are plenty of cars that have de-tuned variants of engines that are otherwise the same, and people just turn around and find a tuner that raises the power to match the output of a higher-performing tune in another model, like in VW/Audi, Fiat/Abarth, etc.

And I'll say this again...at least here in the US, every Kia/Hyundai since 2013 with the 2.0T Theta has been proven to support at least 350whp and most certainly anything you're getting out of the stock turbo. I VERY highly doubt Kia would cheap out on the internals for the engine since somewhat decent internals are already available..and the warranty they offer pretty much requires some level of overbuilding the engine in order to reliably make it to 100k miles. A few of those died at stock power levels too, the same can be said of any engine, and that could be due to a variety of issues, and doesn't neccessarily mean the motor can't handle more power. The same argument could have been made about the GT's 3.3TT that's also in other cars, but that didn't stop anyone from tuning it. Unless someone proves otherwise I'd assume the 2.0T would be no different in capability to handle more than stock power.

The main idea that I want oem file. Not planning to tune it. 255 is enough for daily driving car.
