Drag/Acceleration The Official 1/4 mile track thread.

ran a 12.29 in comfort mode without launch control, lol Could of swore 1st thing I did was put it in sport but I guess not. More runs coming...
I've done the same. Comfort is a .5 second penalty. 12.1s for sure...

He will get 11's.

He should be able to. I seen the list and he already got 11.8

Let's wait for the results!

I though Dragy was more accurate.

I still think he will get 11.8 or 11.9. He might take the number 1 spot.
Dragy is extremely accurate, but the conditions in which a Dragy are used are usually more favorable (you pick weather, IATs, etc). If he can run a 12.3 without launch control in comfort mode I definitely think he can hit an 11.

He posted some new dragy times this week in the low 12s. He should hit 12.1 best probably 12.15 at the track. His 11.8 was down around 16-20 degrees with no heat soak.
Edit: God I'm good, 12.15 as predicted. :)

Back from the track, no eleven today not happening. Prob missed any opportunity I had with the first pass comfort mode. Had a few hiccups early and temps climbed. Left at 1:30 as temps had reached 68. Ran consistantly 12.2s when we got things sorted. Couple bogged runs along the way. Launchs sucked, I could not get under 1.9. I think these stock wheels are just too heavy. Light weight rims and tires and an early start will yield an 11. But current set up is gonna be tough. 12.15 best of the day. Thumbs up to Terry's live help. Best in the biz!20190414_131258.webp

That trap is impressive. I think that's the fastest trap.
Is this E30 map 5?

Remember our launch is only at 2200-2300 rpm and you arent building boost. It's good for a couple tenths that's about it.

Comfort costs you .5 from the slow shifts and no LC only costs you .05.

I have stock 18 wheels with are ya ready??

All seasons yuuup!

Lol.... just why stung?!?! JUST WHYYYYYY. Any idea what the 18s weigh? Similar to the heavy ass 19s? With that trap, some ark wheels and decent tires you'll run 11s all day.

Man you crushed that ceramic. Was he rwd?
awd just reaction time and not a great pass for him. He beat me time wise at least 3 runs. That's scottycole hes running lap3. We were tit for tat all day. His first time at the track so hes figuring shit out. But same deal for him stock 18s with all seasons. Its next on the list for both of us.
