H&R Sport Springs

Thanks for your input!
I went ahead and became the honorary second member of the H&R Springs club.
I'm loving the drop and the ride is awesome!
What I immediately noticed was:
1. The complete absence of the rear 'squat' during acceleration.
2. It feels way more flat in corners.
3. The ride is slightly stiffer but exactly the level I was looking for while still being comfortable.
4. We all get curious stares already but a definite notch up in eyeballs. ( Rear looks almost slammed! )
Also its a GT base model w/out adaptive suspension.
Well worth it IMO ✌️

wow the rear looks slammed. just to be sure you have the 3.3 RWD without adaptive suspension?!
I'm still thinking about springs, but your review is exactly what I'm looking for. except from the slammed look in the rear but I could live with that

Very nice, but why does your rear look a lot lower than the front? The OP doesn’t look like that so curious why yours does. Wonder if the non-adaptive suspension is naturally lower?

Thanks!
You know I have no idea, OP's rear is nowhere near as low. I doo have a hundred or so pounds of tools my trunk.
Makes me wonder if they mixed up my front and rear springs. Crap I gotta check today!

Or the OP doesn't have 100lbs of tools in his trunk.

Just FWIW the eibach springs are lower at the back too.

Unfortunately all the lowering springs to date have been developed for the AWD, it will never have the same stance with the RWD. The RWD will always look slightly squatted in the rear because the front is high. I checked with Eibach, H&R, ST, ARK, NeoTech and all the springs were designed around the AWD.

I wouldn't worry too much about it. The car didn't settle at the time of the original pics. See now, rear is a bit lower, no weight in the cargo, and I'm on a slight incline. 20190413_192937.webp

There’s no way they can mix up the front and rear. They won’t fit.

RWD no adaptive suspension. Rear looks lower/slammed as the rear fender arch rim extends lower than the front. Try running your finger along the inside of the fender edge, the plastic arch lining sits high up inside the arch compared to the front.

If we give ST Suspension enough demand, they will produce adjustable springs, these can fit on the stock shocks and be adjusted as you like on all the Stinger configurations (4/6cyl - RWD/AWD) to get the perfect drop.

Any idea what something like that might cost? Sounds expensive.

Around +/- $500, way better than springs as you can adjust it as you like, you get coilover adjustability and the comfort and quietness of the stock shocks. The good thing is it leaves the option to change the height down the line, like if you add wheels, or a spoiler kit and want to change the stance you can adjust it like a coilover, with lowering springs you are stuck with the height you get.

So how do we give ST more demand?

Oh nice! I ended up double checking actually.
The last time I got springs, on my previous car (rx8), they DID mix up the front and rear somehow.
I also took out my tools and it was the same wheel gap.

Yes I am RWD. Just realized you are AWD.

Here's a shot I got the other day too

Stock suspension? Or HR?
