My guess is started with Presser and moved to BTR?hmmm interesting @robz32 Maybe they were still having issues with the canned flash tune? Unless they are local and were able to get the car into Pressertech, i dont see how anyone will be able to really help without the car on a dyno.
maybe. I may message the pure guys to see if we can get some updatesMy guess is started with Presser and moved to BTR?

Presser has access to a dyno, just not located in their current shop. Just posting as an FYI, I have no more knowledge on what they are up to.
I have another mod pending install (no, not turbos), delayed for various reasons, but once I get it installed I might try and get mine on the dyno, and also see if they have any more tweaks to add.

You dirty dog. Holding out on us. It's probably a upgraded fuel pump and 250 shot of Funny Gas!
Right for all we know with the perimeters pressertech changed he may have a 11 second stinger.Lol I think it’s an intercooler or throttle body. It is definitely not a upgraded fuel pump and I highly doubt it’s nitrous.
What he needs to do if take that car to the track to see how it performs with the presertech tune.
But the Tork or Pressertech tunes double that hp and are still conservative. Tork stage 1 is 18 psi and should work on 91 definately 92 octane. I'm running 22 psi now on a beta tune. That requires 94 octane and is not conservative.I inquired about the VR ecu tune and they stated : "we are able to target and adjust much more with the ecu flash providing an overall larger improvement as well as higher horsepower and torque gains. The bench flash does require you to remove the ecu and mail it in to us, however this is a quick process as we provide a same day turn around so we get the ecu back out to you the same day we receive it."
I don't doubt that the tune is mild in manner, but 30-40HP and 70-80lbs of torque is pretty good for a stage one tune with no bolt ons other than some spark plugs. I would rather play it on the safe side than be the first to blow a 100k warrantied motor.
I just sent Pressertech an email. Hopefully I can get this thing tuned this year.
Pressertech $1200. Tork $800 for stage 0, $900 for stage 1.How do you go about getting the Pressertech tune? Their website cart only lists the Mercedes. Tork tune does loot like a good performer but you're paying for it.
PRESSERtech's tune is in the neighborhood of 45 hp and costs over $1300, iirc. I don't know why anyone would pay so much for so little.
The 30-40 HP is for the VR ECU tune.I'm not sure where you got your "45" HP figure from, but one of our forum members had his AWD tuned by Pressertech. Pre-tune HP on the dyno= 318.
Post-tune= 383
That's 65 wheel HP with K&N drop-in filters as the only other mod. Factor in a 20% driveline loss for the AWD and your 65 wheel HP increase becomes 78 crank HP. To me, that's a reasonable increase for $1200 tune that does not require aftermarket gapped plugs.
