If you want to waste your money then buy it and review it here. I am sure the guys here on the forum will be entertained by it.

You want a piggyback get a JB4, if you want an ecu tune then wait for BTR or Lap 3. You can also get both the ECU tune and the JB4 if you want to run like meth/e85 etc.

Hope this helps, no trying to be mean but there is a reason nobody has bought that VR shi#. If you are smart enough you wont even wonder how it performs lol

What I have heard is that BTR/Lap3 will sell you a spare ecu with the tune already on it. You just swap the ecu to your car. It is very easy to swap the ecu. 15 minutes job at most and you only need a 10mm socket.

I don't know where you are located but BTR will have the ECU tune out soon. If you are on the Chicago area you can visit them in person. Look them up blood type racing.

There is also a thread. BTR themselves wont give you info over the phone but since I am lucky enough to live 30 minutes away I have some inside info that I cant share here.

Just be on the lookout, in the meantime you can check there website and see the cars and the work they have done.

That would be awesome. I actually looked up the video to swap it out and looks very easy. Tork offers that but at a steep price of 790 plus a 1000 dollar deposit for the spare. I imagine Lap/BTR would be no different.

The likelihood of an OBDII flash option any time soon is slim to none, due to OBDII Gateway encryption.

I cant speak for Lap 3, but BTR should be a lot cheaper than Tork. I heard rumors that BTR will offer the package for around $1000 ecu + tune. Don't quote me on it but as more ecu tunes become available the cheaper the prices will get. Tork is very expensive but is because he was the first/only one to provide ecu tunes at the time. I mean there also a small shop and probably have not sold many ecu tunes so they need to make as much profit as possible.

Just be patient and wait for ecu tunes to be released from BTR/Lap3 this summer. In the meantime you can get the JB4.

I personally will wait for the BTR tune and get tuned locally. I also have plans to keep my JB4. Will use the JB4 for data logging and run meth/E85 down the road.

Yeah, it is a very mild tune. For people worried about reliability and longevity and no bolt ons.

It is good to see a dealer doing all those mods and may give is more of a fighting chance for future warranty disputes.

The spare ECU price is insane. Both Lap3 and BTR had said the tune on a spare will be around 850-950... I think they are sourcing directly from korea and not local dealers though.
