You are kidding i assume. 10 second cars run very low 7 sec 1/8th miles not high 7s. The trap speed is impressive but we also don't know the slope.

Yep you're right about 10s / low 7s. He probably won't hit a 10 with a mid 7 1/8th like he posted. I would bet that car would be trapping 130+mph in the 1/4th though

yeah, that's a mid 11 run. He didn't even break into the 3's in the 0-60 mph, he would probably trap 120-125 though, just needs a better launch.

I agree and bet its very low 11s and close to 130mph traps.

yeah, that's a mid 11 run. He didn't even break into the 3's in the 0-60 mph, he would probably trap 120-125 though, just needs a better launch.

That would be very disappointing if hes only running mid 11s with 700hp(620whp). Tonka is already hitting mid 11s and hes prob closer to 450-480whp.

This car walks away from a 10second M5's so if he got a decent RWD launch he should be able to match or surpass the 10.9@129mph the BMW runs.

Yep, that tells me the Stinger is probably in the ~133mph ballpark

Are you sure this video is posted in Dragy? I don't see it. Looking at other cars that break 100 in the 1/8th and their 1/8th and 1/4 mile times, I agree with Doel this is a 11.5 run.

It would be in the 10s with a good launch. Look at it this way, car and driver tested the M5, it ran a 10.9 in the 1/4 mile. You know what its 0-60 was? 2.8 seconds..... this Stinger was 4 seconds. If he raced an M5 from a dig, he would get absolutely smoked until well after the 1/4 mile, might catch up at 1/2 mile. We will not see a 10 second Stinger until someone figures out how to launch these cars harder.

With that said, if he's beating M5s from a roll he would probably trap 130 which is fast as hell.

But you can definitely tell he had some wheel spin on 1st and 2nd. Need to work out a better launch solution.

Technically he did; it's recorded in km/h, so it's 0-100, which is 0-62 MPH. That would convert to like 3.8 seconds to 60 mph.

Either way this makes another case for AWD....
