3.3TT JunBL EVC Vs Borla S Type

I’m Borla all the way! Then again, I’m a mustang driver who has always had loud sports cars. There are times that I wish the Borla was louder because it does have a good throaty growl.

Heh! Well...

The Stinger at around 3k rpm is probably what the Cobra sounds like at idle.

1 = Stock Stinger
10 = A v8 with open headers

The Stinger with Borla is probably a 4 and my Cobra would be a 9.

I can do a side-by-side comparison in my driveway probably tomorrow.

Sweet the. I don't own yet most likely beginning of the year maybe g70 or stinger or may go my18 stinger, but this forum has me scared to death of the borla. Do you think it would be annoying on a long drive cruising 60 70. I had a z06 with a cross exhaust and didn't think it was loud enough but I did not road trip in it either. For me it would have been a touch too loud for a road trip. Thanks for your input.

Hello good people, i want a cat delete with o2 Sensor fakers, any suggestions?

Someone with experience with EVC systems would be preferred. If they understand how they work they should be able to troubleshoot.
I spoke with the service shop I'm going to on Saturday, he asked me a question, if the exhuast hast a cutout. Which frankly I don't know what it means or if I have it or not.

What lead him to ask was; I asked him if they were experts on EVC Systems, so his reply was does yours have a cutout?

The problem here Saudi Arabia, we don't have such professional, and majority will act like it, and then screw up your car and say sorry. That's it!

So I'm a bit worried...

@Salman Some will refer to the EVC system as a Cutout exhaust. So basically they were asking if your exhaust is an EVC exhaust or not.

Tell him it is a vacuum type cutout.

I absolutely love my JunBL GT non evic. The drone is completely ok/minimal and it even creates the slight tink tink tinks when coming out with no foot on the gas.

Great purchase. Let's see how the material holds up to a PA winter.

The problem is, they don't know English. Can you translate "vacuum type cutout" in Arabic.
I went to Service Shop yesterday, the technician/engineer checked the pressure and electricity.. everything was working fine. So he went back to the exhaust and opened it manually, after that it just started working normally on and off..

I asked him what was the problem do you think? He answered, that it may be due to switching the button on and off while on high RPMs. which led it to get stuck somehow. I replied, I have no done such thing as I have not turned it off since I bought it.

So he guessed the problem was becuase I was no switching it on and off regularly.

I presume that was not the issue, since it closes when the car is switched off and open again once the car is turned on. That is ofcourse if the EVC button is on.

What are you thoughts?

Get rid of the second cats with a down pipe and that will definitely bring up the sound I also have borla system

Did you have Borla on before the down pipes were installed? I’m curious about how much the drone is increased by the down pipes. I’ve been debating on getting them because my wife is okay with the drone right now...not sure if she can take more. My Cobra is a drone queen, so it doesn’t bother me at all.

No I don't have down pipes just borla but listen to one with down pipes and it definitely increase the sound

Is the Drone noticeable with the Borla?

Could you possibly post a driving video in and out of the car. Anything would help. Leaning toward this but worried it may be too foud.
