As title states i just installed the jb4 and denso plugs gapped at .022. Im on map 1 currently but honestly not to impressed and looking for more power. Is it safe to run map 2? I only run 93 octane and e85 is everywhere near me.

Yes it's safe to run map 2 with 93 octane and with your upgraded plugs. You'd probably see significantly better gains with an intake and the fuel wires from jb4 added in the mix as well.
Map2 is workable without fuel wires, but you're leaving power on the table by not connecting them.

You should be feeling gains of about 50+hp and 70+ft/tq on map 1 with fuel wires. I think map2 will bump you up another 15hp or so.

Most people on this forum have a watered down perspective on “fast” IMO. Another way of saying this car is still slow with fbo and tuner imo

Depends on what you're used to I guess. Since the Stinger GT is a very accessible and practical ride, it's likely to be the fastest car a lot of people here have owned. "Fast" to others might be running a 10s quarter in street trim with groceries in the trunk. But imo 12s is "fast enough for the street."
Running map 2 with fuel wires on densos at .022 and 93 octane here and my butt dyno can definitely tell the difference between that and map 0. Between map 2 and map 3, not so much, but I only ran it once.

I run map2 and map3...both with a touch of E85....map2 should light up your tires as would map3 if you are rwd....map3 should break em loose even with awd......get yourself a Draggy and make some runs...that will give you an idea of the power you are making...or take it to the track...maybe your buttmeter isnt working properly?

WashI wouldn't say they light them up lol. Only spins 1st gear and i am rwd. If im rolling say 30mph or so and floor it, it doesnt spin. I am going to take it to the dyno soon. I just filled up and added about 3 gallons of e85

The car definitely isn't a rocket even with a tune, but the only cars faster for the same or less money are the Muscle 3 (Camaro, Mustang, Challenger/Charger). From there, Japanese offerings of similar or higher performance command a price premium of 10K or more in most cases, only for marginally faster. Kick over to German offerings and they also carry a similar premium, but most of those offerings only put you right around the Stinger for performance, or a hair more. Step "up" to the RS3 and you're seeing a much better 0-60 but with a heftier price tag.
Basically, new for new, all things considered including overall quality, the Stinger really sits right in the middle of everything. If you want more power, you pay more, at least new for new.

@Terry@BMS... sorry, stupid question. Realized the fuel wires now come pre-installed. Just bought the JB4 today, so haven’t gotten it yet. Are the posi-taps for the fuel wires included? Thanks!
