Just bought a 2019 GT1 AWD. I added in the below ....are they worth it? I'm especially having some buyer's remorse on the maintenance plan but with Brembo brakes, etc it may be worth it?? Any advise on what I can expect within the next 5 years would be appreciated to determine whether I get a refund or not.

-Extended warranty bumper to bumper with $100 deductible (10 YR..125K)

-Maintenance plan, no deductible (5 yr or 75K) covers oil changes, filters, brake pads, wipers hoses, etc

Please add cost of the plans for reference

$1200 each

I hate plans with deductible, also third party warranties are not reliable long term, companies go out of business. Try to get Kia's extended warranty instead. 10 year 100k miles, people got it for $1500.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
The maintenance plan is through any Ford dealership nationwide (odd) .... I was told a Brembo brake job is over $1000 .....thoughts?

My thought is first don’t worry about it as you just bought it and will be a while before you need anything. The second thing is, increase your income so it is no longer a stressor.

Well my question has nothing to do with my income....plenty of that.....I just want to make the right choices (part of why I have a good income). I've read where some have had to replace the brakes at 10k.....seems odd....especially if I'm not burning them up, just driving normally. So let me put it this way..... how much is a Brembo brake job on this vehicle? I know it varies by region, etc but just looking for some numbers.

It’s a Korean car...parts are not expensive..
LOL. A windshield is c. $2.5K (iirc). A GT rim is/was $630. Those damned little patches of PPF in front of the rear wheels are FIFTY BUCKS. A headlight assembly is over $2K. Ridiculous pricing.

Nobody knows yet how much maintenance is going to be required over five years. I'm confident, given the quality and reliability of Kia vehicles, that maintenance will be reasonable.

So the maintenance plan for 5 years is $1200? Seems like a good deal no? The only part that worries me is do you want a Ford tech working on your Stinger?

Years back, I had a Lexus IS 250, changed the oil at Jiffy Lube out of convenience, then at the next service went back to the dealership. They told me, the car was short 1 quart of oil when they drained it out. Turned out Jiffy Lube added 5 quart of engine oil (as it was their standard volume), when that particular model needed 6./6.5 quarts to be filled. My fault too, I should've double checked.

Just a quart, not bad. My 2008 Audi A4 would burn through a quart every 3000 miles. I used to keep some 5w30 in the trunk at all times because it always would alert me during trips. Of course the Audi didnt have a dip stick to check and electronically it was a pia to get the reading... I don't miss that car as I feel the Stinger is better across the board save for the dealership experience.

my 330xi started leaking oil after 70k miles, the oil pan gasket was bad. Apparently the only way to fix the thing was to drop the entire engine, it was leaking a quart a month before I got rid of it.
