If the list is so important, create a standard for approval. If it alters the existing list, then those who were removed can certainly run again and provide the required documentation

I agree. Since it's perfectly reasonable to expect a 10.9 from stock turbos meth, and some bolt ons and a jb4.

FWIW I found an old email from "Bal", who told me the car has around 300# weight reduction, and a couple mods here not listed. Since he posted his time I'll share he said he ran 11.2 a few months ago and was looking for tips to get in the 10s. Of course I can't confirm if it's legit but if he's making it up he's on the long game.

We did say we should have a standard either video or picture of your car # matching the slip. They always write it on you rear windshield or back windows.

Id agree at stock weight but he took at least the seats and spare out. Depending on how much weight he dropped, this isn't that hard to believe.

To be honest, I don’t think the thread should be closed for threats of violence, I think those who conduct such behavior should be removed from the site, and their post placed in a hall of shame thread.

Who wants to be associated with a group that can’t wait to meet face to face, not to run their cars, but to confront someone physically? Even if they didn’t really mean to do anything, trying to intimidate people should have no place here.

With that being said... how cool is it that these cars can run 10s? I’ve wanted a 10 second car since the first time I saw Fast and Furious lol

It seems for most on here ,it s all about getting the best 1/4 times , I never got chance to run mine on a 1/4 track or have the use of Dragy ,, to get any numbers but , that being said ,,personally mine is a slowpoke car and my DD ,lol , but if people have to inflate the truth of their times ,,that would really be sad ! Just saying !!

Anything goes on this forum. I've been threatened here before and a mod just removed it and kept trekking. So the poster decided to PM me the threats so the mods couldn't remove them. He's still posting here daily and continuing the same stupid behavior. No matter how much shit he stirs they allow it. And I'm pretty sure he has multiple accounts. And I'm pretty sure his spare account is the one in question today.

What I don't understand is how small and cowardly someone must be to threaten someone over the internet and think for a second they will be taken seriously. These are people that were bullied in school and are trying to make up for their shortcomings by doing their best impersonation of what they think "tuff" is. The internet's version of "little man syndrome."

I mentioned this in our PM but mods only have power over posts and threads. We can not ban people. That is for Sal. We can suggest it (and have) but the person who is actually threatened/offended/whatever can help the situation by reaching out to him directly. And reporting the post too.

TBH , I am only hoping to get 12.1s,down to 11.9s when I get the rest of my small Mods done and hit around 4.1s to 4.4s for a 0-100kms launch .. I will have my muffle delete taken back off Thursday and replaced with the Borla Cat Back , and I also will order tomorrow ,SSR down pipes for a little extra flow , but not expecting any major gain s here as the Borla is 2.25 inches and the front of the exhaust I believe a bigger 2.5 ,perhaps restricting the flow a bit .. I just don't want to spooling troubles !!

I'm betting he was running a very small shot of nitrous and coupled with the weight reduction he was able to get into the 10s. Doesn't matter what the mods are, a stock turbo record is a stock turbo record. I don't understand why everyone on this forum is so insecure as if they're going to get a prize for top spot in an extremely localized list.

Why do you keep thinking people are jealous or insecure of this list? This is supposed to be informative and the information is 100% wrong. 300# weight reduction coupled with a 25/50 shot isnt taking you there. A 125 shot possible with some bad ass slicks especially for a rwd that we ALL know have traction issues. Believe what you want. Hey did you see my 9 second pass

It's more about just keeping it honest. It becomes more important to post overwhelming observable proof once things start getting really crazy. A 10.98 isn't just a record, it's a record by over a half second or so? This is a pretty substantial difference in 1/4 mile land. It seems like it's a 50/50 split on those that believe it vs not. There's no amount of bickering on a forum that will change those opinions until more proof is posted or someone else comes along and proves it's possible by sharing their video of a time that's at least within a tenth or two. 10.98 is incredible. At 4000lbs this needs 600hp minimum based on my math
